I vote for #3 DaS Anime Entertainment

They explain the show well, go over the characters, and don't keep droning on and on until they get a 30 minute segment. Concise reviews are welcome!

#1 Needs to work on co-host/camera interaction more.
#2 Needs to decide if he wants to review the anime or give a synopsis of it.
#4 Needs to review the anime as a whole. ....and there are never too many characters, just not enough character growth.
#5 Interesting...if I ever see a self aware toy, it stays in the box.
#6 Way too much information. Stay concise, I have friends who ramble on about anime.
#7 Seen a thousand of these on youtube...YAWN.

I vote for #3. They were informative and kept my attention. I liked how they had there own 'animation' in segment, by use of a Green Screen. I love the interaction between the two guys. I will totally love watching them again and they make me what to watch that anime. They are also nerdy cute which is nice

#2 He was very funny and informative and it was short, it was hard between this and number 3. I loved his opening animation, it drew me in to it. He was energetic and I hope he continues to do this!

#1 I've heard of this podcast before and it has so many things going for it already. Time to give someone else a chance.

#4 I didn't hate it, I just don't like mecha animes sooo...that kinda killed my attention However, he looks possessional and I think if he did another category of anime I would have watched it (sorry dude I at least tried which is saying something ^_^ )

#5 It was excellent animation, but I was confused. It is an american style cartoon, not Japanese which is what this site is about. Don't get me wrong, it was good, just not for this site. After watching it I got confused at what kind of contest this was for O.o

#6 I couldn't stand the first 4 minutes in because it was slow and dragged out. They need more work on drawing people in.

#7 I thought this was beautifully done. Not too many people make MMV (Manga Made Videos). It's hard to do, trust me I've made one. It takes a lot of time and focus to make something like that and I give great credit to the person that made it. However, like # 5, it doesn't really fit with the other 5 videos.

All in all, my vote is for #3.

Aside from the childish comments of some of the posters, I thought this contest really brought out some great material for us to enjoy.

Personally, I like #5 the most.

Hi Guys,

Creator of #5 here, thanks for all the votes from the community and being selected by CR staff and given the opportunity to be showcased. In regards to several comments on my film, below.

I know some users believed it vile to have an older content being chosen but honestly in this industry - if you're not one of the people who invested their blood and sweat into creating an animation and know how much hard work was involved, you'd see how many independent and commercial film makers promote their films over the years.

The industry as of right now for 2D artists, isn't that great - at most you'll be stuck as an intern and or people looking for 3+ years of experience and then your trying to balance the profit/experience scale to pay off your loans and or starve and get experience. Currently I am working in a regular job that pays decently well and have not been doing any animation related activities as of late(9 to 6 and OT?) - however when I submitted my film to CR last year, I promised myself that I'd get back into the game and start animating once more if I got in.

As for the unruly fan fanatics of the other videos(all wonderful) there is really no need to attack the videos of others, there is a fine line to constructive criticism and out right attacking. For those who were honest and judged unbiased, thank you and continue to support Crunchyroll.

"Your original content can be about anime, dramas or anything pertaining to Asian culture, music, food and so forth. The parameters are endless as long as it pertains to Asian Entertainment and/or Culture!" quoting shinji here, first off I'd like to say this - The first anime I've ever watched was Trigun, which a friend lent me on vhs tape - I finished that show in 1 sitting about a decade ago? From then on, I've been a huge fan of anime and how it was created. I would be lying if I said my film was not influenced with some American elements but it would be wrong to label it purely American. Also I recommend everyone to read up on Osamu Tezuka who was a huge Disney fan.

Oh and to put it out there, vending machines of all types is part of Japanese culture, and I find myself silly - needing to defend my film on this point, especially since all content submitted to CR has been filtered through CR staff.

Honestly since there was no set voting policy, I really do hope that CR staff will be able to provide a fair result on Monday.

Since I already saw a couple of the creators vote for themselves - I call it only fair to vote for myself as well
