From ANN:

The Japanese rock band ROOKiEZ is PUNK'D posted on its blog on Saturday that its new song "Song for..." will serve as a "fitting" ending theme song for the Bleach anime's final season. However, the band has since removed the mention of Bleach anime's final season from its blog post, although Google retains a web cache of the original post.

As 315 episodes are listed on various sites, this would mean 315 will be the final episode. A sequel at a future date is still possible, but it is unlikely to come for at least a year.

Well it was pretty obvious it was going to end at this point. As I posted 3 days ago:

I read that article too! I also agree with your spoiler comment. If you're caught up with the manga you probably aren't too sad with it ending at 315

While I don't care for Bleach anymore, I think they should do a huge filler arc. Oh well, this doesn't affect me much at all. Hopefully, it will return sometime to finish the Manga's current arc.

Edit:

Just an absurd question that came up in my mind:

I'm wondering how this will affect the anime industry, and Crunchyroll since there seems to be a lot of people that just pay for Naruto/Bleach only (this is an assumption).

I posted a month ago about the threat of bleach and possibley op ening both due to similer situations but most likely next year it will get a sequel maybe bleach execution would be good.

i highly doubt bleach is ending....the manga is continuing and seemingly what happened, story-arc wise, all these years was just a PART of the complete story.

i don't think it won't end. it might just take a season break. Which that would be ok to just get pass through the manga. It's not gonna end how can it end. It's one of their big 3.

It was obvious months ago that Bleach and One Piece (although One Piece could still go on) were gonna go on a break. I'm really excited to hear Rookiez new song because I loved their work on Durarara!!

Honestly, I think I stuck with Bleach for so long because I just want to finally see them beat Aizen.....after that happens....I wonder what I will do

The direction the story in the manga is taking is actually pretty good. Anyways, you'll have a year after Bleach ends to decide whether or not you want to continue.

I think this is a great idea. Instead of giving us awful awful filler arcs like all Bleach fillers were, a break is a much better idea.

I don't think Bleach will permanently end.

Much more likely it will take a year or so off like Gintama.

As it is one of the big 3 (the others being Naruto and One Piece) it does rake in a considerable amount of money. I don't think the producers are gonna kill the cash cow quite yet, especially while the manga is still unresolved.

I think a year or two off is probably for the best. Once the Aizen story is over any sort of filler arc would have to ignore Ichigo completely or compromise the future stories.

and honestly I think time off is a much better choice than a Narutoesc Filler Hell.

The Show will be back with a catchy extra title added to the name

We'll probably see "Bleach: Shippuden" in about a year. It's most likely going on hiatus like Gin Tama, instead of just ending.

Seems TVTokyo is learning.
