I haven't even played any of the Devil May Cry games ( I've watched my brother play the games and seen some of the anime...does that count? : D), and I don't like Dante's new look. From the clips I've seen, he doesn't seem to be a likable character and the fact that his looks are based off the game's designer just screams "DOUCHE."

Sorry for being extra but its called Dmc devil may cry, not devil may cry 5 xD. considering its a prequel to the series.

Played the demo it's goooood

Honestly I had doubts but after playing the demo I finally gave in and enjoyed the new Dante he does have his quirks but he is young and growing so we can accept it and I do like it

So all in all the combat system in this game is soooooo improved from Previous DMC games

I have been playing dmc: Devil May Cry for a few days now, I have played all of the previous DMCs, and this game fits right in with them. The story is great, the visuals are awesome, and the music is pretty good, too. There is a lot more platforming in this game than the previous ones, but I really don't think that makes it any less fun, the game is about 10 hours long, which is short, but it has a high replay value, there are skins to unlock, lost souls to save, and secret missions to do. I think this dmc is actually better than the previous ones, I have really had a lot of fun with it. I hope they make a second one, despite what all the stupid 'dante's hair isn't white, omg fghcdg!' fan boys have said about the game. It really does not deserve the 0 it has been getting. I would give it an 8/10. I have seen it be beat, so I know how the rest of the game is, I am almost finished with it, myself. If you are still iffy about the game, and are a dmc/hack and slash fan, you should at least try it out, rent it or something, I really don't think you will be disappointed.

The soundtrack was very well done, combichrist really did have the talent to give this new DMC a more modernized feel.

Well, i have played the demo, witch was pretty good.
One thing people seem to wine over is the fact that the person is different.
I understand changing how he looks feels weird...kinda like a superman with no cape. Its just not right.

But! He is still the same bad ass guy. The story is little different and so is his face. So what? I like old school things but i also like trying out new things.

Game is short but fun. Bloody Palace DLC you'll have loads of fun, non stop hacking! Will probably wait for Vergil's Downfall before I play it again.

Dante who? Vergil’s Downfall is well worth playing. If you loved DmC, you really can't go wrong here.
