Well in America anything with drugs seems to be more of a crime than actually murdering someone...

woah. just 14 years old and he's already killed a person. im 16 and i havent even killed a fish
but it was partly the girl's fault because she agreed to meet up with a unknown person.

Man such a fickle community, taking single instances and saying "the whole system is broken" Statistically you have a better chance meeting normal and/or non-killers online than you have meeting killers. A few bad examples shouldn't spoil the internet as a whole. Yes a 14 year old should not be meeting strangers by her lonesome, but that's irregardless of how they met. I have met really cool people online whom I've met irl and none of them have tried to kill me. I've even gotten laid off of a chick msging me on myspace (man that was awesome). You should always be cautious when meeting people, but the same rules apply whether on-line or off. Stop condemning facebook meetings/online meetings because of a few bad apples.

Now excuse me, I gotta go meet psycokill3r666 for some coffee!

Poor girl, the age tells a story though, young, naive and the boy was probably messed up in the head aswell. The only reason he didn't stalk her was because Facebook IS stalking.

There should be lessons in school teaching kids to get the fuck off the internet, and go and get a life. Be brave and log off. For some its just too late.

"If found guilty of murder he faces a maximum 10-year sentence."

Wow, rediculous. Should be a lot longer than that for killing another person.

k.
1.) you do not ever meet anyone on fb, in real life.
2.) if you do meet someone, you don't say 'BAHAHA LET'S KILL HER!!!'

I'm sorry but this is not a problem with Online meeting people

This is a problem with people.

If someone has the mentality to go and kill someone, they will do it with or without meeting them online.
