One question , "Report Spam" button is it even worth clicking? I get so many of these from users I didn't even add and I hope they get warned to not send chains. So mods/admins anyone tell me if the "Report Spam" button really works?

I've used it once and it doesn't seem to do anything. I could be wrong. I believe when the Report Spam button is pushed, it's something only the Site Moderators or Admins deal with.
It would be best to directly contact a mod instead, though. It'll be faster that way.

From what I can tell, it seems the spam button spoilers the message only after a few people push it. The only way to get the spam removed and the user banned is to report them to a moderater.

A spoiler? That's kind of pointless isn't it? It doesn't really stop the spam from coming.

Pointless for PM's. But on the forums and walls, it's helpful by at least hiding it from view. It very well may actually do something behind the scenes for the admins. I always push the spam button as it may have more significance.

Crunchyroll does have a spam filter for the walls (and maybe forums?) that blocks a lot of the junk automatically with word filters; this wasn't added to the Daily Deal wall until recently, hence the chiba character awhile back. I have no knowledge of it being applied to the Inbox.

I don't believe the "Report to Mod" link for chain letters like the one in OP is helpful. Is it? I assume the Mods do not know who actually started the chain unless they have a way to trace it back to the origin. The ones forwarding it now are the gullible users.

Edited: Kippu confirms its fake people with too much free time and who masturbate to Hentai between sends.

Thought I'd raise awareness so people don't waste their own precious time.

and what's wrong with mastubating to hentai anyways? that's what they're for isn't it?

Lols. Just lols. I used to get a ton of it, until I just finally stopped checking my inbox. I deleted all of my stuff though because of them. DX I never fall for BS like that. Why would anyone delete the people of one of their websites, that pay them or bring more attraction?
