Because Crunchyroll wanted to make you cry.

There could be any number of reasons for them not including that show. Since this is a legal business there are more possible reasons for not including a specific show than some group that is ripping off episodes. I don't think you will get a definite answer unless you e-mail Crunchyroll and ask them directly.

probably it's not authorized to have it. or that it just have too many episodes(I seen all up until like 20 episodes ago) or just isn't popular enough to get. you should contact the adminastors if you want an reliable answer

Your second sentence should give you a clue as to the reason.

Even for Funimation, its popularity in Japan (where it typically is the sixth highest ranked anime, a couple of notches below One Piece, above Naruto, and well above Bleach) has not translated to anything close to the same popularity in the United States.

On the flip side, because it is so popular in Japan, the rights holder would no doubt expect income similar to those other series, which it simply is not going to deliver in the U.S., and might very well not in many other markets. Thus, even if it were available for Crunchyroll to license, it probably would not be economically viable.

Funimation said they weren't going to simulcast "Detective Conan." (See this thread: http://community.funimation.com/tm.aspx?m=334069) The show completely bombed so it wouldn't make sense to do a simulcast. The show is probably too expensive to simulcast and there likely isn't enough interest in a simulcast to make money off of it on Crunchyroll or anywhere for that matter, like TheAncientOne said. And by the way, Crunchyroll does have shows that Funimation licensed like "Tower of Druaga," "Linebarrels of Iron," "BLASSREITER" and "Strike Witches." I think Crunchyroll had the titles first and Funimation picked up the titles later though. Technically the first "Strike Witches" was taken off and "Strike Witches 2" will be taken off too since Funimation has the rights for it. More Funimation titles aren't on Crunchyroll because Funimation has its own video portal. Why would they want to eat into their profits? When Funimation licenses stuff they usually get streaming rights too which means you probably won't see their shows on non-Funimation video portal sites.
