I'd be utterly devastated by it. I wouldn't have given cheating on her the first thought, so for it to happen to me would be really bad. It would call for an immediate divorce. I will not tolerate anyone who doesn't hold herself up to the same standards I hold myself.

I'll be sad of course, but ah- Just leave it.

sometimes a relationship is like glass, trying to put the pieces together will only hurt you. and on the subject, me and my girlfriend base our relationship on truth and trust. to go behind someones back like that is a idiotproof way to get dumped instantly in my eyes.

I've been cheated on. Sure it hurts but the only healthy thing to do is walk away and look for a better mate. A cheater isn't going to change, they've already demonstrated that they are more interested in satisfying themselves than they are you. And like potato chips, people like that don't stop at just one.
Plus in this day and age, who knows what STDs they might pick up and then give to you. Definitely not worth it.

leave, Unless she was cheating with another chick, then this could lead somewhere

pretend it didn't hurt that much ....now since feeling humiliated i'd just run away to prepare for vengeance or the like i wouldn't get over it quickly i know that.....

Tell them to fuck off and that I never want to see him again.

There be some epic bitch slapping going on and then cut all ties. I could never tolerate or forgive some one cheating on men and abusing my trust in that way.

A lot of dead accounts in this thread...

Anyway, the first reaction is anger and most people want to threaten violence, but that's not the way to handle it. That will land you in jail. There's no way that you can avoid jail time since it's quite obvious who dished out the beatings. Plus, you can't be 100% certain that you can win the fight in the first place. Life isn't Hollywood and "righteous anger" doesn't automatically mean that you'll win the fight.

Just leave them. Make it perfectly clear why you're leaving, and never give someone like that a second chance. Doing so will teach them that it's okay to cheat. Cheating isn't an "accident". Slipping is an accident. Knocking over your drink is an accident. Taking your clothes off and sexing another person is a very deliberate act, arranging multiple meetings with another person is a deliberate act.

The responsibility is yours to have respect for yourself because obviously the other person doesn't have that respect for you. Drop them and never look back.
