Heh, did you go in the suit, or the Ciel dressed as a girl approach? That would have been hilarious, a girl dressed as a guy dressed as a girl. Do you have a pic? What fashion changes, and what sweets? Tiny cakes or something? Just curious.

Apparently most people buy the books/disks and occasionally merchandise, but have never learned to play a theme on an instrument, worn clothes similar to their favorite character, or done crafts related to their fandom (ei made their own half gloves, cat ears, drawn their own avatar, etc) Cat ears, for instance, are so easy to make. If any one wants a pattern let me know.

I was dressed as a boy... shorts, knee socks, boots, vest, white shirt, the ribbon tie. I already had a long blue coat so I wore that as well. I had to buy the eyepatch, wig, and walking cane. It was a lot of fun! I mostly bake cakes and cookies. Haven't tried those cute little desserts or tarts yet, but I probably will! Ooh, I'd like the cat ear pattern :)

So what about you, do you dress as your favorite characters or have you cosplayed before?

Do you have something you want to put them on, like a hoodie or a headband? Or would you like to make something to put them on? Hats and Lolita style headbands are also popular; the kind you pin in your hair are a pain to take on and off.

I have long hair, so I wear it in a bunch of different anime-girl styles; as long as they aren't really weird like spikes or something. I cosplay too, but generally only girls (I'm small and girly shaped so there aren't that many guys I can pull off). Right now I'm wearing a cat eared hoodie and a wristband with the vampire knight rose emblem that I made. I've actually been sewing cosplay whil I'm typing this; I started selling custom made stuff recently and someone wanted a squid girl set, so I'm sewing a sleeveless dress in 27 F weather.

I'd like to put them on a hoodie... the cat ones are so hard to find! Yeah I think I can only pull off the young boy characters because I'm too small otherwise. Ciel is kinda girly so it works haha. I've worn my hair like Risa Koizumi from Love Com before That's cool that you do custom made costumes for people! If I get better at sewing, I might try something like that too.

Alrighty, last questions. Do you want the lazy way (felt) the normal way (going to walmart and buying similar fabric) or the hard way (taking your long sleeve hoodie and making it a short sleeve hoodie, using the extra fabric for the ears)

I buy manga, anime and statues. I cosplay whenever I can, and I translate manga for those who cannot read Japanese.

When I have the money I add a little bit to my small manga collection, and occasionally buy merchandise. I only have four pieces of merchandise-and they're all plush toys. And, I have ONE Japanese Pretty Cure plush, because I LOVE Cure Moonlight and the series is Japan-exclusive.

But, usually I just support it by watching it, and for my two ultimate favorite series I write fanfiction. But I've never tried to pick up character traits or done something just because a character did it...(To me, that just seems...extreme...for lack of a better word.)

Like most people here, I'd buy goods from the anime if I truly enjoyed it.
