Wooop Woop Star Trek Into Darkness \o/

Loved it and I love Benedict Cumberbatch as John Harrison Good movie overall but I found Chris Pine's acting a bit flat compared to others like Benedict, Simon Pegg and even Karl Urban. Either way it could have failed miserably but I think the pacing between each scene was decent and didn't leave you too bored waiting for any action.

Highly recommended and if anyone sees it at an Odeon Cinema, buy a large or super combo and you get a Star Trek badge like I did haha. My work colleague was mega jealous even though it's just a pin metal badge lol Nothing spectacular but I suppose it's part of the excitement before seeing a movie you have hyped up yourself xD

I just finished the first Iron Man movie a few hours ago. It was better than I expected. I'm trying to get through the second one right now but it's soooo boring. My friend told me she liked the second movie more than the first one. I can't imagine why.

Recently watched Wreck-It Ralph and Shooter with Mark Wahlberg.

Shooter was fair. No great shakes. Script was a bit weak and played too heavily on patriotism. I thought the acting was fair. Rental or "dollar bin" type movie.

Wreck-It Ralph was excellent. Enjoyed the animation and the voice cast was great. Script was reasonably tight. Dragged a bit in the middle, but not much. Highly Recommended.

Scary Movie V. It was not funny, it was stupid. I know that's the point, but it was trying so hard, it was just God awful.

Finally finished the Lord of the Rings trilogy this weekend. I had been putting it off forever. I enjoyed it, the effects were amazing, and the acting was great, but man... too long in many parts. Too long...

The Place Beyond The Pines!

I love Ryan Gosling as an actor, so whatever chance I get to see him in action I will take it...
In the end, the movie was good but needed more Ryan Gosling, watch it and you will understand

I give it a 7.5/10

I watched Gandhi during the weekend. Ben Kingsley's performance really propelled the movie to greatness. (Long and content-heavy movie but definitely worth it )

Lore

About german children right after WW2 making their way across a ruined Germany when a Jew suddenly turns up, which is awkward as they were all in the Hitler youth and hated jews.
