Transformers Age of Extinction

I liked it. Was it good? Not really, but I enjoyed most of what I saw, mostly because of markie mark and Stanley Tucci. And the first Transformers movie got me into the franchise back in '07, so it holds a special place in my heart. So my love for the first one makes me a bit more tolerant of stuff like AoE. Revenge of the Fallen still sucks though.

5/10.

Fake edit:how could I forget about the product placement. Jesus christ it was awful and hilarious

Monsters University.

Not as good as Monsters Inc, but still enjoyable. The best part was learning how Mike and Sully became a real team.

I'm rewatching all the Pixar movies, today was A Bug's Life.

For me, it's their joint-weakest film (with Cars 2) because I don't really care about the ants and what happens to them. Aside from the Queen, they don't have much personality, and with such vanilla characters, it's hard to get emotionally invested in them.

I think, if you took the circus bugs and made THEM the main characters, in a story that isn't just a remake of The 3 Amigos, it'd make for something much more memorable.

Still, $363 million at the box office, I don't think anyone at Pixar or Disney will lose much sleep over my complaints 16 years later!

Die Hard With A Vengeance

Better than Die Hard 2, but obviously not on the first ones level. Sam Jackson is good in this, for real.
