Batman: Mask of the Phantasm was great. And it's been a while, but I seem to remember "Cat's don't Dance" to be a pretty good movie too!

There are a few others... a few direct-to-video releases that I liked. "Tiny Toon Adventures: How I spent my summer vacation" and "Animaniacs: Wakko's Wish."

The Land Before Time

Don Bluth could probably make his own ocean from all the tears he's made children cry over the years.

I was thinking of watching that the other day actually. I think my favorite animated movie is The Flight of Dragons.

The Secret of the Kells

I missed this in theaters then saw it recently on a decent flatscreen and the animation is wonderful. Worth a look.

just watched this fantastic animation, tekkonkinkreet. the pacing is a little stilted towards the end with the climax not really carrying through with the energy that was present at the beginning. i didn't remember most of the utterly hallucinogenic qualities of some of the 'cosmic drama' and the watercolor quality of the dream sequences towards the end. i may post some screens of this one later.
