A PS3 app would be cool. I would even be willing to pay more for it.

An app for my Etch and Sketch please!
There's already plenty of devices that Crunchyroll is on. I do see a Google Tv app maybe in the future.

My main TV is an LG, and my BluRay players are Samsung so my votes are:
LG -- Developers site is at: http://developer.lgappstv.com/devel/main/main.lge
Samsung -- Developers site is at: http://www.samsungdforum.com/

Edit: Looks like Flingo's 3rd party app is available for LG Smart TV now, though I'd still like to see an official app with premium account support and a better interface to available videos.

Though it's already been said, and I don't think it would happen, I vote for Nintendo Wii. Oh, and the new Nintendo 3DS.

You dont need a ps3 app for it, the ps3 can already view crunchy roll vids, just turn on java script and flash player if its off. If you still cant watch do a system update, or just get an update for the internet

Any sort of update on getting CR on current-gen consoles/portables? If it's a pipe dream, would people recommend I invest in a Roku? I also have an iPhone 4, how's the video quality output to TV over HDMI?

Get it on Xbox 360 and I'll consider not cancelling my premium membership, doesnt even have to be 720p...

While the videos indeed play on the PS3, it is not the best quality all of the time. One, the PS3 is not powerful enough to handle the 720p streams, so you have to stick with 480p or lower which sucks when watching it on a large 1080p TV. The version of flash that the PS3 is using is old, and does not support hardware acceleration. Every now and then videos on CR will become blocky, mostly when there is a lot of motion on the screen, or the scene pans from side to side or top to bottom.

Another thing is that whenever a subtitle comes up, the video will stutter for a split second when it loads the subtitles on the screen. Sometimes it doesn't have this problem, but most of the time it does. The video is still watchable but you will always notice that stutter when it happens.

A native app will allow faster access (As navigating the CR website on the PS3 is a chore sometimes with its outdated java support) and much better video quality.

Another solution would be to wait for Sony to update flash on the PS3, but that probably wont be for another 5 years or so.

Oh... but i've never experienced any problems like that before. Maybe, if someone is experiencing this problem, it my be due to low bandwith, low internet connection speed. (P.S. ty for letting me know about some of the things you wrote in the reply)
