It's a simple enough question.
Ichimaru Gin, are his eyes red or blue?
I'm surprised no one has asked about this. But when Gin fought Toushiro way back he opened his eyes and they were red in the anime. Did they make a mistake?
Because in the latest episodes they are blue.
Oh nevermind, wikipedia ftw (yeah I checked when I got here in the post). Apparently his eye color was not yet known when the anime crew drew them as red. A shame; I rather liked the 'rareness' of red on Gin.
I guess this topic could be about which color you thought most fitting for Gin, red or pale blue?

I think Blue is more fitting. Red,it's just wrong for Gin to me. It makes him look like a evildoer. I've always pictured Gin as a 'lost little fox' stuck between the good and the bad.

This is just a guess, but I think back when Gin's fight with Toshiro was animated, Kubo had not yet colored a picture of Gin's eyes when they were open. So the animators took liberty and decided themselves for that part.
Since them, Tite Kubo has revealed what colour Gin's eyes are.

Oh, well.  Haha. I rather like blue eyes on him more. Especially the fact that they match whatever it is that he wears that is tied around his waist like a ribbon? |

I never caught the red eyes when he fought Toshiro so I'm fine with the latest version which is blue.

I like red as much as the next person, but i perfer pale blue cause it just works with him better.
