funimation has it on their site to stream legally if you can there, also it was on here at one point and you could even buy digital copies of each episode if you wanted to. sadly that is gone now lol

Funimation`s vids are 360p quality, which is crap.
So you`ll never see me on there, I like to watch quality ;P

I actually checked Funimation already, but they only show a few random ones and some of them are taken down. Also the ALWAYS say their site is under construction so its kind of a mess. Thanks for the idea anyways

Last I knew it was available on hulu also.

Just checked, Strike Witches is there in full. It at least beats not being able to watch it.

If it's to watch anime then I can handle commercials. I prefer watching anime in the best conditions possible, but I don't mind watching anime in crappy resolution nor do I have any moral obligations in choosing where to watch my anime either.

In fact, the first series was one of (if not the) first legal simulcasts on Crunchyroll, several months before the went "fully legit". It was marked by a very short streaming window, measured in hours. As Cecilthedarkknight234 pointed out, there was also an option to purchase a digital download of each episode.

As to those illegal streaming sites, it has been about 7 months now since I last used one, but I recall many of those videos not measuring up to even the video quality Funimation provides, and even the best looking to be no better than the 480p available at Hulu. Downloads, of course, are another matter.

Which is why the smart viewer checks Hulu, where 480p is available, for the same episodes.

The ones they pull are usually the dubs. For example, they typically only have the first two dubbed episodes of Strike Witches available, but for several weeks during the time CR was simulcasting Strike Witches 2, they had all 12 episodes in dub format.

By contrast, once they have completed posting all the subbed episodes of a series, those tend to stay. All 12 episodes of Strike Witches are available both at Funimation's site, and at Hulu, which as I have noted, is the better place to view them, as 480p video can be selected:

The episodes are also available at Funimation's YouTube channel, although as I understand, the bitrate for 480p video there is lower than Hulu, so I usually recommend it only for those in Canada:

The raw file is 720p, which is hd.
People pay to view on Hulu right?
People pay to view on Funi and here(well some).
So these sites shouldn`t go down on the quality, they should give you guys the best quality they can.

Should? is that a moral position?

They'll give you the most profitable quality for the price point, based on the how likely they think it is that you'll just give them the finger and carry on illegally if they price themselves too high.

I know Hulu is free with commercials like Crunchyroll, and I think Funimation is free as well, or at least most of it. There's obviously services they'll take your money for but they do a good job for offering services without any fees.
