Hello Forum,

From the studios listed, are there specific ones that you are drawn to? Does the animation quality seem to stand out to you? Are you familiar to their works from their manga->anime connections? Have you ever watched a movie by one of these studios? Or do you casually wait each week for a new episode of your favorite anime?

Use your vote and then comment, argue, agree, or compare your choices to others with similar or different answers. There is no wrong answer, though you may find a new studio who produces anime to your liking. Please respect the opinions of others and have fun.

Great question, but you're missing a lot of candidates. I'll vote for Bones because they do great work with FMA, Sould Eater, Eureka Seven and Gosick. Brain's Base puts out pretty good stuff. Examples of course are: Durarara!!, Baccano! and Natsume's Book of Friends. Each series has things that stick out and get etched into my brain. I find myself enjoying and dissecting every aspect of the above mentioned series, from the music of Makoto Yoshimori, the similar character design (which I really like) down to each voice actor. Gonzo also does really good work as well with some of my favorites being Samurai 7, Welcome to the NHK, Peacemaker Kurogane and FMP. Studio Deen has been around a long time and put out Hell Girl, Kyo Kara Maoh!, Fate/Stay Night, Ranma 1/2, Vampire Knight and the last half of Rurouni Kenshin. Toei of course has lots of history so they certainly belong in the conversation. Studio Ghibli, J.C. Staff and Gainax are obviously world renown too. Lesser known ones I remember putting out good anime our Artland, Manglobe and Kyoto Animation. Yet, I think Sunrise with Code Geass, InuYasha, Cowboy Bebop and Gundam takes the cake in my opinion. There are way to many to elaborate on by myself but I'm sure other people will highlight which ones they like as well. I think it's interesting to see the different characteristics, design and overall tone that each animation studio employs and it really is another fascinating aspect of anime in general.

I really like learning about animation studios and rambling. So when you put those together, well, you know.

On the list, Gonzo, but you forgot some pretty big ones i.e. SHAFT, AIC, Kyoto Animation.
Including non-listed ones I would say SHAFT or AIC

For recent things, other: Studio DEEN. I'm trying to keep up on some of their shows; though being one of the few who does BL currently helps my interest significantly...
