What Should I Do For a Dieing Friend?
Posted 1/12/08
Don`t sulk in your room `cause that`s making things worse .
Always be there for her . Talk to her like she doesn`t have an illness .
When she`s throwing up and stuff , assure her that she`s not a burden .

Well , pretty much , treat her like how you would like to be treated .

Wow, this is pretty sad..., first of all, you mustn't give up, wonders might always happen..., but yeah, be with her, take care of her, show her your concern, help her not to fear death, make her feel that she isn't alone, that she won't die alone, remember her all the funny times you had together, make her sort of forget that she has only a short amount of time to live..., well since I don't know your friend I don't know how she feels about the fact that she will die..., but give her your force, your love; Tell her how lovely, and cool she is, tell her your secrets, and let her ask you her questions, nobody said it will be easy, and I know it will be hard, but try to forget the fact that she is dying (only if she wants to talk about it), this will only make you act unnatural...laugh with her, cry with her, tell her jokes, show her funny things, comfort her, make a list why you think that she is a special person that you will never forget, and tell it to her.., show her that her life was worthy, that she has you, that she has friends that will miss her.., ask her what small wish she would like to fulfill before she dies....of course ask it in a subtile way. You mentioned soccer..., maybe if you can invite her to a soccer match..if it's possible for her to move out of the hospital or wherever she is,
just give her nice memories, beautiful memories full of love and joy...yeah....

I wish for you that you can help her to get this unforgettable memories, that will last even after death...a soul never dies..and it's memories shall remain alive....

Take care, and I hope that all will turn out good, and a miracle shall happen..^_^

Flo~

Treat your friend no differently then when he/she is still healthy. Don't be sad for them, be happy and share your joy and laughs with them.

be her support. it will be tough fighting cancer.
be the one who is not afraid to look at her when her hair is falling out
wipe her forhead when she is puking out her lungs from chemo
don't avoid her or the issue of her illness. don't pretend everything is ok when it's not. ask her how she wants you to help.
bring her schoolwork, maybe record the lessons(if your teacher says ok)
so she can see what's going on with her classes.
sit quietly when needed.
make memories everyday.
become a bone marrow donor
donate blood
help her to know Jesus if she doesn't already.Pray. it won't hurt, and can help if you just believe.
