My houses are filled with crap that will never get used. And I have enough munitions to eradicate a small planet.

Me too. I found the Alien Blaster and keep it for emergencies. It instakills just about everything.

I like Fallout 3's very lonesome, bleak, depressing, yet strangely hopeful atmosphere. It gives you a feeling like you really are in the nuclear blasted wastelands of Washington, DC. I used to live in DC, BTW. Its an erie feeling going to places in the game I've frequented in real life, like the National Mall, L'fant Plaza, the Capital Building, Friendship Heights, Fairfax and etc. The bleak landscape and ambient orchestral soundtrack just mesh together well.

Dude, I hoard so much, too! and I spend literal HOURS at workbenches and reloading benches making beast ammo and stuff. I have a couple save games where I have every follower in the Lucky 38 or whatever and they all have special equipment, as well as backups armors and weapons for every one of them in the chests and wardrobes there. I have TONS of stuff in the suitcase at Novac to sell that I wasn't able to. Also, the safe has every other unique/cool weapon or item, my wardrobe in Novac has all the rest of the unique or cool armors. The desk has all of my extra creating supplies. I also have a collection of sporks, basketballs, and other rare-ish useless items.. I have something like 300000 caps in one of them. Every now and then, I can't help myself but jump on those save games and hoard some more, lol!

New Vegas is way better then fallout 3, Mabye its because i started with NV first but theres something i like better about it.

I agree to sorts, but Fallout 3 holds a special place in my heart, since I'm from the DC area, and spent almost my entire life there. I loved it because everything was so dead on, like the towns and metro system. Hell, my hometown where I spent most of my life is in it! Olney, MD... Known in the game as "Old Olney". They got it all SO damn accurate it was both exhilarating, because it was like I was really walking around DC, and depressing, because it was so much like where I lived, but post-apocalypse. So, yeah... Not bashing you or saying your wrong. I'm just giving you the reason why Fallout 3 holds its own for ME Although I gotta say FO:NV had a somewhat similar effect for me, too.. I moved out to Colorado right before New Vegas came out, got the game, beat it, and then VERY shortly after, I went to Vegas for my friend's marriage. I'm amazed at how Bethesda got everything SO right. DC not so much, since that's where they're headquartered.

Ehem, wrong maby gameplay is better but NV story plot is not as solid as Fallout 3,If you ask me i would say NV is good but story lacks in orginality. Fallout 3 is best RPG-FPS Of all times

I'm a horrible pack rat in Fallout 3 and in New Vegas that I've resorted to just using TGM most of the time :/

Not that I can't blast away any enemy with the massive hored of munitions. I just don't like having to drop my stuff off at any one of my house things lmao
