Is kissing a guy you just met a bad impression of yourself?
Posted 2/10/11
I mean... you really really do not understand. WE JUST BONDED! And I was in the country side in the Dominican Republic and it was night time and there's usually a lot of stars and it was raining. We talked about the bible, nature, people, cultures, food, how everything in life has a purpose and a reason, and etc. We clicked. In each subject he had a lot of things to say and he only talks about how much I pleased him a lot and how much he is attracted to me. Yes, I fell for his looks first and then for his personality right there and there. He is my first bf and my first relationship ever. I told him how many people thought I had a bf because of my looks and that wasn't the case. I just don't fall quickly. He said do you think there's a reason as to why it's raining and everybody left to the fever instead of staying here in the park(not any normal park) a lot of nature, benches, lights, marble floor... ahh and he asked for a kiss and I said sure in the cheeks and he said no in the mouth and he just put his hands around em and I start laughing and we went for ti and he kept on at it. But once we got together I did not allow him to touch me in any private area ad he never ever touch me wrong.

What's your story? and what do you think about this topic?

you're lucky!! OMGG <3 I AM SO HAPPY FOR YOU XD
Unlike me, I've been harrassed by this guy I didn't even LIKE
because he blackmailed me into a relationship!
:) I think, you two will do fine... but I believe that having a first kiss so quick may be a bad sign..
just don't too fast! ^^

Hope you don't get a surprise nasty lip sore in a few weeks and find out that this charming guy was too good to be true.

Hmm it happens a lot on a night out and that, boys ask you to kiss them and if you like the look of them, go for it but I don't like doing that anymore. My friends just do it to show off, and it could land them in trouble one day. If out clubbing and a guy really takes my interest and actually talks to me, not just kiss me to show off to his friends then walk away...then I'll happily kiss them if they're an interesting person.

There's nothing wrong with it.

It's 2011 not 1940...

Feel free to express yourself sexually, intellectually, or what have you.

Hey some people just immediately click. If everything felt right for you. I don't think there's a bad impression on the kissing portion. I do feel anything more than that is clicking to much at first...

unless for the both of you this is just a one night 'click'

In response to the topic, in general, it depends on the meaning behind it... if it's playful and nothing overly serious, I don't see it as bad at all. In response to the OP, I think that it's something that you feel very special about. I don't think your decision is wrong, but not a lot of people completely entrust themselves to others in the span of a few hours or days. I don't think it'd be wrong to guard against something too good to be true either. Hope doesn't hurt until it becomes unreasonable.

For some reason at first glance I read the all caps as "WE JUST BONED", and had to double take while wondering why you're concerned with the impression that a kiss gives. About the kiss, it really just depends on who's convincing who they like them more. The kiss clearly lets the other person know that you like them, which can encourage them to be more bold in their approach, but if they think that they like you more than you like them, it can cause them to double take and think things over, which shouldn't be all bad (it is a kiss we're talking about, that should be something good), but if they over think things, then it might get weird. All in all, it's not irreconcilable even in the worst case, so enjoy your good times and always hope for the best.
