{Perhaps this could be part of BasouK's sticky but with season 2 added now I thought a fresh post was called for since these were broadcast in chronological order}

With season 2 just added - for those interested here is the broadcast order (which is also the chronological order!) of the combined season 1 and season 2. Why? When season 2 aired in Japan they also showed season 1....because season 2 are episodes mixed within the time-frame of season 1. So they showed the combined seasons in chronological order. I put in parens the season and episode number here on CR (which was the first way the season 1 was broadcast).

Just a follow up now that I'm about halfway through, don't know how I'll feel at the end, but watching both seasons together, in chronological order has been great. The stories and references from one eps to another flow normally. I'd recommend it for those watching season 2, as I don't think it was meant to be watched by itself. Either way all the great and odd Haruhi stuff is still great and odd.

EEEHHH?!? Season 2 is mixed in with season 1?!? No wonder the SOS Brigade's movie in season 2 looked familiar! Must rewatch...IN NEW CHRONOLOGICAL ORDER!!!

ok so now I understand season 1 and 2 but what am I supposed to do about the melancholy of Haruhi-chan Suzumiya and Nyoron Churuya-san cause I am about to start the franchise (what I will call it) and I want to know about those two series
