Is it just me or does all the anime released so far this year center around school! I dunno about the rest of you guys But what the hell are the teachers of these schools doing when all these kids are fighting ( aka beelzebub) and whats with all the protagonists all non cholant about their roles/abilities in their respective animes?
why is it that alot of them focus more on stupid fan service rather than quality story lines? whats with the little nudity or soft core fan service that gets the guys nosebleeds or turns them all red like its that big a deal?
I'm seriously tired of shitty animes that make u feel like ur supposed to be 7-11 years old to actually want to enjoy. its like more animes these days are just rip-offs of each other and lack creativity even though the graphical aspect of the show is superb
lets review the school animes
Freezing
Beelzebub
GOSICK
InfiniteStratos
Loups Garous
Dragon Crisis
Kore wa zombie desuka
out of these listed above They are all centered around school.. middle-high school to be precise and not college.. i don't want to imagine some 15 yr old protagonist who looks like they should be 10 saving the world or getting slapped around by some dragon or bad guy and they don't die Or better yet break out in hives ,get nose bleeds, turn red and pass out {insert more lame premature male response to female partial nudity here}.
i'm honestly waiting on the next anime to captivate me like bleach ( yes more school) but the fighting kicks some serious ass. if i'm looking for fan service why not just go watch porn, get laid or shit watch some hentai.

If you guys know any new or old animes that have substance (even if its about school) little to no fan service and is moderately longer than 12 episodes feel free to post or pm me about it.

lol its more like the sad feeling you get when you watch an entire anime series too quickly and there is no season 2 then you come across some bs lol that has way too much fan service and not enough substance

The majority of anime are centered around a school theme. Because its pretty easy.

Though the thing with school animes is that you always are going to have a time limit for an ending. Like till they graduate.

Thats why I like animes like Working!! Since its in a restaurant.....so they could go on forever with their episodes.

But sadly they dont have a 2nd season D:

lol @AsuraCryin not hating on them just the creativity or context in which they are used.
we get the cuteness factor in most but when they try to make a guy who looks like he should be at work behind a desk crunching numbers fall in-love with a girl who looks like she's 8 is very weird.

They show the characters at school because kids are they bread and butter target group for anime, and kids go to school. It's as simple as that. The all the animes I have watched this season have shown kids in school except for Fractale. The only ones I would say revolve around school are Freezing and Beelzebub, though the fact they call it a school in Beelzebub is ridiculous.

LOLOL Finally someone else sees my opinion Beelzebub is ridiculous lol where are the teachers did u watch the most recent episode? the principal dude was painting or scrubbing graffiti off the school fence... doesn't anyone find that strangely odd?

yea i guess when i look at it from your point of view it makes perfect sense.. if you shoot animes for kids as a target audience then ok but then you have the violence.. how are they supposed to relate to that? if you make an anime then let it just be purely fictional a little to no fan service or cameltoe shots and try to sell the story more.
all i get is that this is targeted towards the otaku's and i think they should just let them stick to their hentai

Beelzebub is pretty crappy right now... same goes with freezing.

Beelzebub and gosick are the only really good series' this season. Madoka was uninteresting, though the animation is great I just don't like anime's centered around a group of magical girls. Everything else is okay and entertaining in some way even if their not good. Anime for me doesn't need to make sense nor does it need to be about real life. It just needs to keep me from being bored..

i know rite? anime gets more interesting the further it is from actual reality.. i dunno about u guys but if u start relating fictional toons to ur day to day lives thats just pathetic.. if it can grasp my attention for 15-20 minutes and makes me want to watch thats all i'm asking for
