Wow that's amazing. Good time wasted on something cool. I usually use my time to make weapons and I made a music box before. (:

Yes, but I'm not that creative so when I'm really bored I sit there or fall asleep. Or think.

I'm not very productive when I get bored. Sometimes I write. Or I'll tear paper into squares.

Man, you guys are both talented. Cool stuff!

Several years ago I worked as a computer drafter in an aluminum extrusion plant that specialized in architectural wares: curtain wall, mullions, high end window holders that are seen on high rise buildings and shopping mall storefronts holding vast expanses of glass. We'd run out of stuff to design and/or revise. The company wouldn't allow us to go home even if we volunteered for no pay that day, week. One of the secretaries in our department that worked first shift had a few replica Raisins (little raisin figurines modeled after a Sunkist, or whoever, commercial that showed them playing musical instruments or listening to a boom box) randomly sitting on her desk. Someone in our department rearranged these figurines in a way that was suggestive and likely violated certain pornography statutes, ha ha. Almost everyone in 2nd shift thought it was hilarious. No one reconfigured anything on Twila's desk. At the end of shift everyone went home....snicker.....tomorrow is another day at the salt mine.....groan, yawn.

Apparently management didn't share our collective opinion of joviality, even if it was a shade immoral. Both 1st and 2nd shifts underwent scrutiny, questions became veiled threats, but to no avail. Nobody squealed. Actually, nobody knew who did the deed (and most of us didn't care to know). I lasted 2 years here then moved on to less stifling surrounds. Whew!

I remember once, I was about 14 and so bored that I decided to tape the music channel and learn the entire Thriller dance. I'm epic at it now, but I'm a dancer anyway. I just dance when I'm bored or make blue tac animals and stick them on top of my monitor.

I did origami too! I was wondering what I could do with all the scratch paper in my bag. Then I figured why not make this trash into art?
So I started watching videos on youtube. Boredom also lead me to learning how to draw manga style.

Boredom is a Comfortable time

Boredom can lead to productivity, while it may be on a trivial scale it does accurately summarize the ability to strive towards a goal. Which reminds me of an article in the recent OXM magazine. About video games 'saving the world', video games while trivial can have cooperation and orderly teams working towards a single goal. Like, let's say.... 2,000 kills in less then 24 hours.

While that may be trivial, it was productive because it was a feat, and feats are dignified actions compassed by point A towards point B goal creation. What I'm getting at? Boredom can be an incredibly good thing, trivial or otherwise. The OPs post is a fine example of directing energy towards something. My favorite? The quick-stop grocery store.

I'm not a huge bleach fan, but you did a marvelous job with the Ichigo hollow mask. Kudos.
