vivazai are you in the military?

Anyways tips for ab work out. Wolf is right about it. If you work to much on your abs you will seriously hurt your back. Situps require some muscles on the thighs also and a strong back.

As for not being able to do many at the beginning. Don't get discouraged from not working out. Everyone starts off at some point. Try not to set your pace next to the person you see. That will discourage you more from working out. Instead keep working out and be comfortable with who you are. Hey in time you will have that sexy chisel 6 pack maybe 8. Its a long term goal anyways. You can probally see results after 2-3 weeks.

Oh as for hurting it should be normal if you don't work out on a daily basis. Your muscles are sore and they need at least 24 hour of rest. Don't overwork your muscles ethier or you can do more harm then good. A week over excising takes about 6 weeks to recover to your normal self. Anyways wolf probally knows more. Im no major in sport medicine or fitness.

oh an 400+ crunches are easy. try doing like 25x4 then gradually increases it by 5 every week
or every 2 weeks 30x4. Also try to mix up the routines too so your body does not get adjusted to 1 set routine. Ie 40x3 for 1 day then 3rd day 30x4 etc. And if you feel a sharp pain its not good. Muscle soreness when it feels like a bruise is normal. Also healthy eatting is key to muscle recovery and nutrient needs. Not meaning taking supplement pills or such. You can get fat off supplement shakes and such. That is if you don't work out.

if you lift weight, they will come out and so will everything else. i mean if you are a stick with six pack thats nothing special. thats what i am right now but om working on putting on the mass.

Toning and strengthing is different. I think some people don't realize that. You can work out as much as you want., but if you don't do both you can look like a really fat guy. but a really strong fat guy. I guess you need a mix of both.

also doing hundreds of crunches wont work. abs basically come out when you have a low enough body fat percentage.

youre just wearing them ragged doing hundreds.

Just doing crunches are useless for getting abs, even if you do thousand of it a day. You have to do a total body workout mixed with cardio.

Another thing that most people forget when trying to get abs is diet. Even if you do all that exercise people mention above... your not gonna get a 300-style six pack, without the proper diet.

Just google "abs". There are like a zillion articles on it.

Ok get on a chin up bar and raise eigther your knees or legs as high as you can.

ps your stomach muscle are like every other muscles on your body the only thing different with them are that they heal faster than most.

so that means your should do 25-30reps and 3-4sets, as soon as you can do this increase weight.

Doing loads of sit ups and crunches only makes the muscle on your stomach smaller.

6 Pack Workout:
1) Leg Raises - 25 x 4
2) Side Bends - 25 x 4
3) Sit Ups - 25 x 4
4) Crunches - 25 x 4

If anyone needs any other advice just ask, i'm qulified in this

They make your punches quicker? Do tell. I'm guessing push ups just make them bigger right?

mmmm..... Not really, push ups are good for chest fitness, but if u want size then you've got to add the weight/resistance on.

Your pecs help swing your arms and shoulders forward in the same motion as a punch, but the triceps help extend the arm when punching.

I preferably like to do hanging sit ups off a chin up bar
Incline sit ups are effective if practiced properly. The key is to suck your gut in and do each rep in a slow motion, that way your not putting the wrong kind of pressure on to your lower back.

Side bends? I don’t do side bends myself, but that’s because they’re more of a beginner exercise to help strengthen your obliques for the V-Sit Ups.
Doing side bends can make your obliques look massive, but to massive if you know what I mean.
Plus you should only do them twice a week at most because of your lower back

Whats the difference between a push up and a press up? Weights on your back?
Also since leg raises help the lower abs what helps you... like take less damage from body blows? Would it be side bends? I'm a bit confused ._.

Push ups & press ups the only difference is the name.
weights like dumbbells whilst lying on a bench.
More muscle less damage, but i'd suggest doing your core stabilty thats one of the biggest weapons that help fighters win fights.

By the way do you get bolied and want to get muscle because of that reason?
