We went into the abandoned building. It was creepy, but nothing happened. But as we were driving away, I saw a glowing figure in a blue dress in the top window... !

How cool! Yeah I live near a lot of battlefields, so I should visit them. There's bound to be spirit activity where so many people have died...

Be careful though. :D

I also saw another one at that same Ouija Board friend's house. But it was before the Ouija incident. It was the biggest, closest, and scariest one I've ever seen!!!! It was just this large spherical shadow floating down the hallway! It was pretty amazing.

I like knowing that ghosts (or whatever they actually are) are out there because that means other neat stuff might exist too!

I will, I have protection amulets that I carry with me:) wow, so that friend's house must have been haunted to begin with! Maybe the shadow is the one that you contacted with the board? Yeah, like fairies! I believe in those too

I have a protection amulet too. But it's to protect against pervies. It has a hidden blade! Haha, random...

That would be lovely if fairies existed. I'd love to see one one day. Maybe!

I have one of those amulets as well! I've heard that there are fairies in Ireland... whenever I travel there I will be on the look out!

What a coincidence! hehe

I so want to go to Ireland too. So green and beautiful. I have a lot of places I want to travel too. Too bad I've only been to... 4 states in my whole life, haha.

Aww you gotta save up money so you can see the world I did most of my traveling when I was a kid and then I went to the UK a few years ago and I just loved it there so much! I didn't want to leave Surprisingly didn't see any ghosts even though I went to a lot of haunted places!

So you had to leave? How long did you stay? Jw.

Maybe ghosts are just attracted to me, or even my family because a lot of things have happened to them too.

Like communicating with the ghost of a guy who shot himself in the head at my gparents house years before they bought it. My sisters were playing Ouija Board and they talked to a guy who said he shot himself. Then they asked my gparents about it, and they said a guy used to live in the house out back (where they were playing Ouija BTW) and he suicided with a shotgun or something. Wtf

i wouldn't want to see a fairy according to this lol but i guess their are many myths like this.

Fallen angels. In the lore of Scandinavia, Scotland, and Ireland, when God cast out the arrogant angels from heaven, they became the evil spirits that plague mankind, tormenting us and inflicting us with harm. The ones who fell into hell and into caves and abysses became devils and death-maidens. However, those who fell onto the earth became goblins, imps, dwarfs, thumblings, alps, noon-and-evening-ghosts, and will-o'-the-wisps. Those who fell into the forests became the wood-spirits who live there: the hey-men, the wild-men, the forest-men, the wild-women, and the forest-women. Finally, those who fell into the water became water spirits: water-men, mermaids, and merwomen. These angels were condemned to remain where they were, becoming the faeries of seas and rivers, the earth, and the air.

Yeah I was only on holiday, so I stayed two weeks and it was one of the best times of my life I know what you mean about ghosts being attracted to certain families... mine is like that too! My grandmother was psychic and I think my dad has untapped abilities because a lot of stuff has happened to him. He's not open to it at all though. Wow that is awesome that you could confirm what the board told you!!

Do you watch those ghost programs on TV? Ghost Hunters on scifi channel has caught some interesting stuff over the years!

I'd still want to see one after reading that! I think that would be so exciting!

Definitely wood-spirits are a must meet. I hope it'll happen one day.

The Ghost Hunters thing... I can never be sure about those programs because of technology these days. But you should definitely visit some of the places they went to!

lol heres another one lol, they dont seem right to me lol only finding evil feed back on them.

The souls of dead pagans. Like vampires, the fairies were believed to be originally the souls of the pagan dead. Since the pagans are unbaptized, they are neither considered good enough to go to heaven nor bad enough to go to hell. They are therefore caught in a netherworld, becoming faeries.

According to the Eddas (Norse), the elves are the worms that went out from the corpse of the giant Ymir. There are two main races : the elves of night, and the elves of light. The latter became the allies of Odin against the Giants.

Yeah, I'm not so sure about the reasoning behind all of this phenomena. It seems like different religions etc try to explain them, but we really don't know what they are. Although I'm not Christian, I'm partial to the Fallen Angel theory.

I really hate the idea of unbaptized dead though. What a horrid system. Eww. It's obviously just some religion trying to assert its superiority over another.

Yeah seems like the origin of fairies is up for debate. I just think of them as nature spirits with equal parts good and bad like humans. I find Norse mythology really fascinating by the way! I want to learn more about it. Runic amulets are the protective stones I carry around with me.

Like was it a religious man who burned a log and twigs and threw in some marijuana plants he mistaken for regular dried leaves by accident and started looking at dog shit at the time high and was like those maggots are turning to elves freaking out lol and in time it just was retold over and over adding in more and more till like it became a legend.......
