I think that it is a possibility for both of them to be his "true love". I think that everyone has more than one "soul mate" whether they are good or bad soul mates. That's not something you would want to think if you were madly in love with someone, because you want them just to be yours, but the reality of the situation is, there should usually be other soul mates, even if you only actually do stay with one.

Well it depends on the situation if the girl that died is his true love, it would took him years to get over their realtionship. If he his true love was the girl that he was remarried too, he must have taken him a short time to get over the girl that died and also it took them a short time to love each other

If a tree falls in the forest but then sprouts a new tree that also later drops in the forest and there's nobody there to hear it will it still make a sound?

watever girl he loves/loved more obviously. even tho one is dead doesnt mean it was true love. watever one made him laugh the hardest, had alot of fun together, connected with most, shared precious memories etc. obviously he'll always love his wife who died. it shudnt even matter who is true love is as his wife is gone and he loved her but shes not here anymore. its like saying is she was still alive and met this new girl he loves whow ud he choose, u just dnt know as the situation wud never happen unless she came bk from the dead.
