I just had the mental image of a woman standing over my dead body with a chainsaw in her hands yelling 'Are you still bored?!'

Like others have said its whatever you're happiest with. Personally I don't just date casually as something to do or to get sex. If I'm not in love or connecting with a girl a relationship is a huge hassle and one I won't put in the work for, I'm too lazy for that. If I am feeling a powerful connection(which is very very rare for me) I'd move mountains if necessary to make said person happy and be there for them when they need me. Stll I get why many people date as something to do with their free time and rather be out trying to find a connection rather than sitting around alone. I'm lucky enough to have great people in my life so even when I'm not dating I don't feel alone. Plus relationships can drive you crazy Love truly does make one do crazy things and I find that effect on me unnerving. It makes me feel erratic at times and I prefer to be calm and stable mentally and emotionally.

So basically I prefer single and calm to a realtionship unless the girl is worth the insanity that is a relationship which is very rare for me. Single at the moment and I find that I am enjoying the little things in life more than I was when I was last in love.

You know me so well it makes me proud sometimes.

they both kind of suck, being single tend to get boring and yea it's always fun spending time with some1 you like, but also sucks when you dont get enough space and get bugged constantly about dumb things completely off topic and accusations of silly things. either way both sucks and both also has its benefits. but i don't believe in true love but i do believe in falling in love. Everybody just has to find the right person that meets each other needs

Single is better if you like to have an exciting life.
Relationships are better if you're ready to settle down.

Edit: Why can't you have relations with people unless you're in a relationship? I see everyone saying that single is boring.
Being single doesn't mean you have to stay at home alone all day.
Get out there and have fun. You don't need to 'put a ring on it' to have fun with other people.
You people who think being single is boring, obviously spend too much time home alone.

Single, ...though it is a case by case I think. I believe somewhere in the Bible it even says to stay single if you can, that things will go better for you, or something.

It depends on several factors including but not limited to your personality, preferences, and current situation. There is no right or wrong answer to this question.

Both are good in some ways and its always depend on the person you are with if you are in a relationship. Being single is cool tho

In the end it depends on the individual. Some people like loving lives and to settle down, while others are more adventurous in their emotions.

However, I would say from a general perspective that it's better to be single then in an unstable or unloving relationship, but it's better to be with your soul-mate then be alone.

You'll look smarter once you realise not everything is black & white.
