Company
Sex
A comfy chest to sleep on
Holding hands going shopping and his cute annoyed face coz he doesn't like shopping

Single:

Eye up anyone you want
Kiss freely
No arguments or drama (not that I had much in relationship anyway)
Free of over-protectiveness

I have been going to college for 2 years and was never even looking for someone. Then somehow out of nowhere she appears. Next thing i know she has already moved herself into my life. Can't picture myself without her now!

It's just that I come from a really traditional chinese family and everyone is already pressuring me on getting married and stuff even though I'm barely 18 and haven't even started college. =.= So, I want to be able to finish college, find a stable job, and support myself instead of depending on a guy to do that for me before jumping into anything. Love or any strong emotion with someone right now will only be a distraction that I can't afford.

That's so true and basically the story of my parents. One of the reasons why I don't take what guys say when they compliment or flirt with me seriously. And just adding to this. Girls, if you really want to know whether a guy truly loves you or not, really look at their actions, not words. Any guy can go out and buy flowers or chocolate, but if they brought you your favorite kind or do something that's required creativity and includes something personal between you, that's different. It's these simple details that will tell you if you truly meant something to him.

But at the same time, guys have been making a hobby of attracting and flirting with girls *coughs* extremely evident on CR *coughs*. So this way of knowing for sure may not be dependable anymore.

Being single is great.
When I had that whiny bitch on my back, she always asks me for something crappy that I can't even manage my time with either Home or Work. And when she calls me, she'll just get mad at me for not answering her calls.
No shit, sherlock. I'm at work that time. How can I answer your calls when people from AT&T's calling me?

Moving on, it's also expensive. Why do girls ask for so much stuff?

Girls ask for so much stuff, really? God, I'd love to be in that relationship where someone is buying me shit all of the time. I certainly wouldn't be asking left and right, though.

I'd love to be in an awesome relationship. But right now, I don't know that I'm going to go for that. In any case I'll probably go for a girl in my next relationship.

I don't know i just find it single is better.... not much relationship last forever anyway from what i see... better be with no one than be with the wrong one. After you b-up with him/her you'll be having this feeling that wanted be a kid again skinned knee heal faster than a broken heart..

Both have their pros and cons. Sometimes I prefer to be single, other times I prefer to be in a relationship.

Being in a relationship is always more comfortable. It's nice knowing you have someone who cares about you. Also, I find I tend to go out more when I have a boyfriend since we hang with both his friends and my friends. And a cuddle buddy and is always nice

But being single means having more freedom. I can flirt with, date, and have sex with whomever I want. Also, I have more time to spend with my girlfriends, and generally more time to do anything else. Still, it gets pretty lonely though.

Well I would perfer to be in a relationship cuz i really am not a flirty person at all and dont like when guys flirt with me so i'd rather be taken and i would rather think of my Boyfriend to be one of my Best friends too not just play the boyfriend role. Plus I've only had one bf so i really dont date all the time so yeah

It´s not a question of "WHAT IS BETTER".

It´s rather a question of "what type of human being you are".

Humans are animals. They go for herds. They dislike beeing alone. That´s a fact.

But when you know, you´ve got no time for a relationship....a could be a good idea not to have one.

I know, it would be GOOD to have any relations with any other people.
But I´m working about 14-16 hours a day? Even my cats are angry with me for that.
It´s no question, that I dont have the time to get to know other humans.
It´s no question, that i dont have the time to start a relationship. And even if i COULD.... i´ve no time to keep that relationship alive.

So, i DO think, the best way is to have no relationship at all. No one ist beeing upset, when I get home late.
No one is waiting invain.... that´s not the best for me (sure..)

But the best for anyone else.
Dont always think of yourselves... consider your oponents live...

IoI what the heck? xD I dun ask for stuff, guys just give me things. And I gave my ex a $200 watch when we were still dating and told him he could keep it even after we broke up, so honestly have no idea what you are talking about =P
