Everyone truly is different. I've seen people that have been together who are absolutely miserable together. I've seen others who are absolutely having the time of their lives together.

The best relationships I've seen are the ones where each person in the relationship is trying to make the other one happy. If they are both equally committed to that goal, then it is a very happy thing indeed.

Neither is better than the other and what works better for one person may differ for the next. Most successful relationships from what I've seen had some prior foundation before the relationship began, such as friendship. I've seen married couples who are unhappy and I've seen unwed couples who are happy as can be and see no point in marrying. However you define a relationship for yourself, it will take work from both parties, else it will fail.

I don't see a need for companionship these days, but if something comes along to make life better I don't see any reason to not welcome it. It drives me nuts when people settle or feel they have to be married at some point or in a relationship because "that's what society thinks you should do."

I prefer to be single too. If anything, it'll help me meet lots of different women and find the right lady if possible.

To be honest ~!~! is there such thing as true love in reality??? you rather be single and do whatever you want or in a relationship when your boyfriend or girlfriend telling you not to do this or that, or they'll complain this and that?

The relationship you're describing is not a real relationship. If your boyfriend or girlfriend is telling you what to do and you have no say, get out.

To the original question, relationships are fantastic, but they take work. Being single is great for a time, but after awhile I find I'm longing for that connection that can only come from being in a relationship. Currently in one for 2.5 years and it's been rocky, but I couldn't imagine my life without her.

Bottom line is there is a time and place for everything.

It really depends on what you think, but like someone else on here said, if they are telling you what to do without you having a say then you should get out. Personally I like to be single, but at the same time there is only so much I can take with myself. So at those times a relationship does sound better.

Both are pretty much the same.
Though the affection you get in a relationship is nicer than being alone.

being single is alright for a while because no relationship problems or anything like that but it can also get lonely. tho even if you are single u can still sometimes get bitched at by someone you're just checking out for like talking to some other peeps. idk man.
