I totally agree with you there.. The girls that "DO" the whole innocent look/type is just pretty damn cliche and annoying, esp "ABSUIVE/PinkhairedwH*re" types..



I didn't sudden LIKE Hilda..I've liked her character from the start!! SHE'S STRONG and it's her OWN POWERS and STRENGTH!!

NOT somethings has to BE BORROWED or made from a DEAL!! UNLIKE someone!! She did it for a GUY'S affection and too beat her competition..I can't and WON'T get over that FACT.. GIRLS like that are just too conceded and in self-denial..


Hell a girl can be girl and have a heart of gold but this is RL and Anime/manga, so, I just don't take to 'aio' way!! She too vain, and she doesn't even see it..Vain, as in, NOT her looks but her personality!! WHAT guy wants a girl like that ??

Aoi all the way. I don't really hate Hilda but I do hate characters who look down on others and think they are better based on race, class, place of birth etc... I don't think aoi acts innocent at all. I haven't gotten to read the manga yet but did aoi really make a deal because of oga or did she do that to become stronger and protect the people she cares about. Hilda can be seen as an abusive type and vain as well. Like I said I don't dislike either character but hilda seems more vain to me than aoi. I don't know if Oga will really end up with either of them. I hope for aoi just because it isooo basic and predictable for the main girl and guy to always end up together. I just love aoi. She is a great female character. She was strong even before she made a deal with a god and she still stands up for her friends and is there to protect them. She's strong, caring, thoughtful, and great with babies, she doesn't cry when things get tough and she also doesn't go around hitting people for no reason. Sorry, I just can't help it I love her character sooo much. Most main female types that everyone says is strong does the one thing I can't stand and that is hit people for no reason at all. I know its just an anime but it irks me when the main guy character is always getting beat up and a lot of the times isn't even in the wrong but gets hit anyways. I don't care that aoi has a crush on oga, it's cute. I know when I had crushes on people I blushed at times out of nervousness and its certinly not something easy to just admit to the person you like that you like them. Ok I'm going off topic, but yeah I just think aoi would be good for oga because of everything just stated. Though I'll probably be dissapointed because like I said almost all animes the two main characters end up together. Predictable.
