if it's housing problems then maybe but really they should at least try and find their own place and contribute for their living expenses and help out around the house when living with parents. oh and get a job at least.

My mom still trys to get me to move in w/ her all the time and uhmm... I'm nearing 30 soon! I think a lot of Asian parents would like their kids to live with them. Also, we are expected to take care of them in their old age.

Of course, I won't move in w/ her b/c crap, I totally love my independence but if my mom ever needs to move in w/ me b/c of health reasons or financial reasons I'm totally cool w/ that.

That guy's a fucking twit however. You just don't mooch of your parents at that age! His parents should kick his fucking ass out of their house.

....a lot of people are in debt... specially in america... poeple are going money crazy... personally ive always been fond of the idea of Family Manors and huge Castles wehre huge groups of people couples an kids could gather together and reserve resources that way... perhaps someone could volunteer to be like a cool chef for everybody constantly cooking cool meals out of baking soda and flour and vegetables... and chocalate :P

plus it would be cool... its like a small community/hugefamily thier... man... people need to go back to that.. almost an apartment building but with more conservative money wise for everyone.. plus thier could be huge gathering spots... small/huge library with reading areas and a huge dining hall... it would be like lifelong fancy college!!! without the excess stress...

I live with my Mom... im 21...and chances are im gona eitehr electricute myself or blow up part of the garage... im hoping to begin my inventing soon...gona give a go first with playing at useing stuff to build a basic generator... then im gona play with some other stuff... oh this is gona be painful... not only physicly...im gona have to do research.... wahhh

I think it depends on the circumstances, like if they need or you need help (such as health issues and what not) then yeah it's ok... but if your just being a bum leaching off your parents, no job, or helping out then it is wrong.

Since when was the answer no? You could even live with your parents' corpse if you want to.

Necrophilia and the Oedipus Complex combined...?

@ Seraph: Why bother? If he's earning much more, can't he get himself into a much better scenario than living under the confines of his parents? You can only sqeeze out so much, when you could have more.

@ Marco: Yeah you can do that. Just don't blame me when you get nauseated.

Save up some money. Whatever the case, moral or not moral, he's smarter than his parents. Like children who lie when they are little come out to be smarter when they are older. Lying is not right, in my opinion, (with some exceptions) but none the less this is a fact. *Shrug*

As I understand most other nations do that kind of stuff to a degree. Their larger on family, where as in America we have this social Darwinism ethos to our continuity where it’s everybody for themselves and the survival of the fittest. I honestly think that is America’s most major flaw.

P.S: The real world scares me. I look forward to many-a-dark summers of mildew blight in my mother's basement! XD Then I shall become a true albino!

yes....i'd do the same. my parents are sick and working had for their money for their 6 bedroom house and two car payments, when none of their kids are living with them, except for my sis, who is about to move out with her husband. so if any of my siblings did that to my parents, all hell would go loose.

in the situation gave, i would say... no you shouldn't be living with their parents. but if you were having extreme money issues or were unemployed/laid off, why not then?

Of course. There are no problems if you want to stay with your parents. Especially if you want to spend time with them.
