oh yeah I will get this game i just hope my pc will be able to handle this monster of a game. I am also happy they dropped the old engine from the previous games that where used in oblvion and fallout and built a new one from the ground up. This means a near learning curve for the mod construction set they release and that alone to has me excited

I'm guessing I should probably finish Daggerfall, Morrowind, and Oblivion someday before moving onto this.

Bah, why Skyrim? I wish they went back to Morrowind. Nothing beat that game in terms of atmosphere. Ash storms, the dunmer, Jeremy Soule's AWESOME soundtrack, the seemingly alien landscape. Even now the game world seems so amazing, and back then I remember being awestruck at how fantastic the world was. But yeah, I'll get it... and remember how I wish it was Morrowind.

Probably, so long as my computer can handle it, I don't have the cash to upgrade now.
I always wanted to play in the northern reaches of that world, love the snowy, mountainous, and generally alpine atmosphere. |

Supposedly they are going to try to put in some of the same kind of alien atmospheric "weirdness" that made Morrowind so charming compared to the uninspired atmosphere of Oblivion (note to designers: putting a bloom effect on every single object does not make for good graphic design). The dynamic gameplay elements seem interesting if used correctly, but I'm disappointed they aren't using the new id engine for graphics and are using a descendant of the much-maligned Radiance AI ("I saw a mudcrab today!"). Hopefully, the gameplay is better than Oblivion (less autoleveling, maybe less Fedex quests, possibly meaningful choices that affect the gameworld? -- I'm not holding my breath on the last one) and won't require massive modding just to make it playable. |

this game is probably going to be amazing in terms of the previous two i would to say i liked morrowind far more just because how much depth was put into, so many weapon choices, guilds and houses to join that would give u ur own plantation, mansion, or magical mushoom dependin on ur choice, and the story line did go for a decent amount of time. the only downside to these games were the fed-ex quests because they wanted to make the world so large yet it would meen taking hours from ur time just running back and forth seemingly to get no where, this new one seems interesting and i hope it will live up to the name of its predecessors

Urg, it looks so amazing. <3 I can't wait. I love the Elder Scrolls series. I just wonder if my laptop can handle it... I'll probably get it on 360 and then try it out on my laptop.
