Totally agree with you on this one even though our anime tastes are completely different. I'm really tired of seeing new releases and half of them targeted towards older men, unnecessary underwear shots, humongous breasts and the such. I was actually pretty pleased with the 2009 anime with K-on, spice and wolf , fairy tail, kobato, yumepati, kimi ni todoke. 2010 was a little less of a party for me since winter was an absolute bummer but it was lightened up with Kaichou wa maid sama when spring came, but the rest of of the year pretty much had no interest for me. This year is slightly better than last year with the start of : starry sky, hourou musuko, kimi ni todoke second season, suite precure but the spring lineup isn't looking too good for me. But none of the what was listed above has excited me enough and made me think "what a great anime" except for maybe yumepati, kwms, and fairy tail. I'll stick around and see what they have listed for summer and hope its something good!

just asking have you watched gosick or wandering son this season? They have blown me away but to each his/her own.

While I do agree somewhat, I will say that maybe you just aren't looking hard enough. True, anime as of late, has been sort of childish, but there have also been great anime releases as well in 2010. I don't know if you've seen these before, but here are a few suggestions. (Freezing, Claymore, Queens Blade, Inuyasha, De Gray Man, and Air Gear).

*sigh* I kinda agree, but I'm looking forward to the autumn line of animes. Some of them look really good. I wish CR would post the news about them, but it hasn't...I think I'll like Ao no Exorcist.

I take it back. Somebody HAS posted it on CR. Gomen.

Again, edit. Spring. Ahem.
