This should not be happening,

I have the top of the line computer and tried all 3 of the major browsers. It can play perfectly on my Evo 4G but it will not buffer all the way thru the episode even if I walked away for an hour, If this is not fixed then I do not think my time and money should be put in to this site.

I may be wrong here, but I don't think crunchyroll actually buffers episodes, just streams them directly.

The main reason I assume this is because on my ps3 I'm able to watch a full episode while it crashes sometimes trying to load a long youtube vid. But like I said I may be wrong.

But I do know what you're talking about since I've experienced it too. It only seems to happen at peak times, so i can't help but think its just a case of not enough outgoing bandwidth to suit all the users.

If anything the main suggestion i would make is for an alteration which leaves "premium bandwidth" for paying users, meaning those who pay for the service will actually get priority over those who don't during peak hours.

Although I've also noticed that the episodes seam to sort of crash around certain points on occasion (points I assume would have adverts for non subscribers).

I know this post doesn't exactly help you, but with any luck Shinji will read it and consider putting in the priority based on paying customers >.>

That is an excellent idea, and you did help me in someway. I will not cancel the subscription because I can still play full episodes on my Evo and I have the hdmi so I can just put it on my 52" screen. Thank you again

I'd wish they do that, I can't even get the streams started these days, and I am on year sub.

Wich means I am going to be... really.. really.. furious soon if they don't fix the streaming issues.

Agreed, everything has gone downhill recently making the site next to impossible to enjoy anymore. I have yet to watch an uninterrupted stream recently for any show regardless of the time of day.

The problem I have is that I am a premium customer and I will have skipping issues while logged in, but I can log out and watch the "free" version with absolutely no problem. The quality may be lower, but why pay for something that is broken with the free version works better...

Yesterday I was watching letter bee and went through 10 episodes (just started the series) with no issues. Today I went to watch the new Fairy Tale and i was getting 5 seconds of video and pausing for 10-15 seconds waiting for the next 5 seconds. I was watching my network monitor and i would get 1 second of 2 MB down and wait 10-15 for the next 2 MB.

If this keeps up, I will be cancelling my subscription.
