Legally acquiring Japanese CDs

I've scoured the internet, and I have no idea where to find Japanese music CDs, legally. Sure, it's pretty easy to get pirated copies of just about anything now, but I would like to legally acquire some Japanese music.

Honestly, I have no idea where to buy a Japanese CD. I'd like to get some older CDs such as High and Mighty Color, Little Non, and some newer ones, SiD, Spyair, Scandal, etc... Is there a website I can go to purchase them? I don't have an iPod, so itunes is out of the question.

If anyone has any idea where to go, please let me know. Amazon.jp would work, but I can't read kanji.

Thanks

here is the cheapest site that I know of to get cd's and they are really good I have ordered 4 cd's from each site
also even if you itunes you can still rip the cd's to itunes because there is no region protection on cd's >_>

It's an idea, albeit an extraordinarily expensive one.

However, it's times like these I wish I still lived in Okinawa lol

Here are sites of interest to buy imports from:
http://www.amazon.co.uk
http://www.amazon.com
http://www.otaku.co.uk
http://www.otaku.com
http://www.play.com (can't remember play.com sells Anime CD's, but I know they sell Anime DVD's and Blu-Ray though.)

If you do buy anything off of ebay, avoid anything from Malaysia, as more than likely it will probably be a pirated product than legit, even if it has there government seal on it.

I'm a big fan of HMV Japan.

Bought several albums from them, never had a complaint.

So I feel I can safely recommend them. : )

They sometimes have sales, where you get a lower price by combining certain items. And you get bonus points for purchasing from them, which you can use to get a discount.

When it comes to digital sales the best way to go is to get a card for iTunes Japan and use that. There are a few sellers out there that will sell them and give instructions on how to use it as a foreigner.

You can buy them from CDJapan or YesAsia, quite a few are listed on amazon.com as well- but wherever they buy them, they're going to be a hella expensive unless they are used.

Which is why I prefer to DL my Japanese music from the internet - *gasp* ILLEGALLY. I do own a few Japanese CDs, but as I stated before, they are expensive, and I can't afford every single/album release that I like.

If you really want to buy them for a cheaper price, you can buy the Taiwan/Korea/Hong Kong versions, which are of the same quality as the Japanese releases, just less pricey.

www.cdjapan.co.jp
^ quite expensive when shipping is added。
www.yesasia.com
^ free shipping after a certain amount but doesn't have everything。

The two sites I rely on the most。(^ ^)
I do use another sites but they're in Japanese so。。
