Kiryu Kazuma, probably one of gamings biggest bad asses (And deffenently the kindest) is set to return here in the states, and this time he's bringing three new playble characters in Yakuza 4.
Yakuza 4 brings the promise of a deeper more fluid combat system, improved old mini games, new mini games, a lomg list of side missions, as always from the Yakuza series a great story, and a whole lot less cuts then Yakuza 3.

And while the trailer did have an english dub, Sega has confirmed that Yakuza 4 will only have the Japanesse vioce tracks with english subtitles, just like Yakuza 2 and 3.

I'm happy about Japanese voice actors staying. The English actors in the first one got on my nerves a lot.

yea, but to hyper link i'd need a keybord, (using a PS3).
I wonder if Sega will but in an english dub for next years Yakuza game (Yakuza: of the End, the long awaited zombie yakuza game,)

Well, I don't know that do I? lol
I hope Sega considers. The characters do sound better with the Japaneses voice actors in my opinion. Or at least make it optional to choose which language you prefer, like most games have.

If we asume Sega isn't lying then yes, sega has said all they cut where the mini game Answer X Answer, and the song Butterfly City (To be replaced with a remix of For Faith). as a spokesperson of sega said "Aside from that every things there, even ping pong!"

Well some reviews are starting to come in
Nowgamer gave it a 7.9
PSM3 gave it a 9
EDGE gave it a 7
Eurogamer gave it an 8
ComputerandVideoGames.com gave their import copy a 9 last year
GAMEStm gave it an 8.
Meristation gave it a 8
Famitsu gave it a 38/40
GameOver gave it a 6
and IGN gave it a 6.5
So mostly positive..
I haven't read the GameOver review, but the IGN review was pretty bad, there wasn't a lot of details, and even took points away from replayabilty because he personaly didn't want to do them. The complaints about outdated graphics did seem legitimate, But complaints about being to similar to prevoius games, While alone may be legitimate, loose credibilty from a site that Praised games like Call of Duty Black Ops and espailay God of War. I haven't read GameOver review, in fact I can't, it's in german (Screw Google tranlate, I have money.)

I seriously love the Yakuza series. As usual, a great storyline and amazing side quests <3 The revelations were really funny too.
