Actually bad things do NOT come from God. If He did bad things, which sounds like it's unjustified and subjected to a particular whim instead of righteousness, then God and His Word are not one, and He is not righteous. Instead the Bible offers a very indepth information about that, and that Jesus is the author of the Grace covenant for you and I today.

1 Corinthians 14:33
For God is not the author of confusion but of peace, as in all the churches of the saints.

It also tells us that the ground is cursed because of Adam's fall. Man is made from the dust of the earth, like other worldly items in the earth like paper or money. God does not cause illness or sicknesses to befall man to 'build character'. He's a loving father. What father would burn his kid to teach them about fire? Or cut their hand off to teach them about sharp objects? No father would send his kid to die, like many well-meaning people claim today. 'Oh, x died because God wanted a flower in heaven.'

No, if God wanted that, he would have made it happen. A flower can be easily created. He wants us to enjoy life, and enjoy it with Him. Satan points things back to us, the human. Instead of thinking about spending time with the Lord and learning from Him, we focus instead on the pessimistic things of the world! How the economy is subjected to inflation and things like that, diseases, sicknesses, famine, unhappiness. Don't look at problems, look at Jesus. We point it back to Jesus, because as it is written in the Bible, as He is in Heaven, so are we in Christ!

The thing about the devil is that he has no power, except methods of deception. Sometimes he whispers in our heads, and it sounds like ourselves, it sounds perfectly normal, and uses the personal pronoun. What it does is to cause you to be aware of yourself against God's Word. If that thought does not agree with the Bible, it is not from God. When he manages to point it back to the believer, then he has succeeded in planting doubt. The Bible says 'Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.' That's our job. Never to worry and try to take things into our hands. Instead, by faith, rely on the ever unshakable word of Truth that the Holy Spirit testifies to.

No. You're sealed in Christ, and no one can pluck you out of his hand. Why are you even doubting? What are you doubting?

I've said it before, thoughts can come from 3 places, the devil, body and Holy Spirit. Take no thought, saying. If there's a thought that makes you doubt, don't confirm it by saying. Trust God in faith. Even the faith comes from God. Don't point it back to yourself. It's not about you, it's about Christ. Like what I said in my earlier post, don't let the devil point it back to you. God doesn't do apart of His Word. Read more of His Word.

Well think about this:

To us, all the things of this world and all the things of flesh are really attractive to us because the devil wants us to be lured into sin. So if everything that the devil loves is attractive and he wants to bring as many people down as he can, how can he be as ugly as everyone thinks he is? I think that satan is probably one of the most attractive being in this universe just because of all the sins that people fall into...

A child that's about to get a shot isn't lured by the needle he sees...he's lured by the lollipop he gets after his vaccination

I remember my pastor saying that god feels every emotion all at once. Its not like God laughed happily going today im gonna kill all the firstborn childs. No. He probably wept. God feels happiness when we dance and praise him. He feels sad for the pain we feel. He gets angered when we disobey him. And so on. Which sticks out to me. It reminds me he feels meaning he can truely love us all if he can feel all the other emotions. I never really heard that god felt anything except love and the occasional anger. But I never thought about happiness, sadness, and fustration. Hitoli I dont know your story but its obivious something happaned sometime in your life that hurt you deeply to hate a God that you dont even believe in. How can you hate something that you dont believe in? How can you blame something that doesnt exist in your mind? I hope whatever happaned that it gets better for you. It also seems you know your Bible pretty well. Anyways I was curious to know what Satan looked like as well but Faeleia answered that pretty well so I just wanted to say thanks.
