Reaction sounds (people getting hit/unleashing more power in that Super Saiyajin-like power up) seems to be the funniest thing people would dis a dub for. Zombie sounds/sexual sounds are on that list too. Now, sometimes the sound someone makes when getting hit could have been said differently in a dub.

Laughs, on the other hand, are case by case.

Oh i hear all sorts of dub bashes usually revolving around "oh but that line wasn't the same!" unfortunately dubbers have to work with the lip flap room they have to fit words in so they have to change some things. Other times it's to do with changing certain words that have no actual translation in English or would not make sense. They don't do these things for the sake of it it has to be done to make sense in English.

The scene in Mars of Destruction where the doctor said the girl who got her head blown to oblivion was dead, WTF?!

I remember some guy said because the voices are annoying and childish. Obviously doesn't pay much attention to the Japanese originals.

A majority of dub bashers seem to only focus on 3 things: "mistranslations", accents, and America. They complain that the voices don't sound the same, even though English and Japanese are two completely different languages and obviously are spoken different. Then, they complain about 4kids ruining the children's animes by blocking the tits, completely ignoring the cultural difference. Then, they complain because "it's America"! Fuckers.

To the people who hate dubs just because they're English: Don't fucking watch them! No one is making you watch them!

the only thing i hate in dubs is the fact they give people from osaka a southren accent in English "since osaka is in southern part of Japan" they figure do the same for the states, I find it to be a little racist myself because there is no claim for this reasoning.

Meh, I can understand their troubles. To be honest, I think of New York as the equivalent of Osaka, so a New Yorker accent would have been better...but I haven't seen the English Azumanga Daioh, so I really can't judge.

I listen for accuracy with words and lines and such with dubs but the thing that I find stupid is something they did with the Maburaho dub is when someone would be panting and out of breath the english had it where they were laughing instead of panting. Also with Nel from Bleach the english made her sound like shes in her 20s in her child form.

At least Nel doesn't sound as childish in the Japanese.
