I guess I don't see a problem if some people choose to have those types of relationships, but there's no way I would. And 20 kids?! dang

I'm really against it. It almost never happens that you see a woman with two men, it's always the other way around. It really goes back to the idea of women being worth less than man, and that's a ridiculous idea. Men and women are equal, so why should one man get to marry two women?

But oh well, I don't even get why women actually agree with marrying such sick idiots. How can you agree to share your man? Those women must have no self-esteem whatsoever.

And I think people who do this shouldn't have children. It's giving children the wrong idea about how society works. Also, the children of the man's favorite wife might be treated better than the other ones, and that'd be unfair.

Oh, and I have actually seen a woman with two men on tv. They 'worshipped' the female body because it was able to give birth to children. Those guys were.. sick. And that woman was fat and ugly. And those guys were just pussies.

Generally, what I mean is that it's just wrong. In a relationship people should be equal, that's what it's all about. You can't do that when you have to share your partner. If people want to do that, fine, but they shouldn't get children.

I'm not a sharing kind of person.
Let's leave it at that.
Even the ex's that I am still on good terms with,
I measure up the women they want to date.

Bad, I know.
But I'm not sharing my husband D<

I would NEVER EVER share my husband, my one and only, my soul mate. If he wanted to be with someone else while still being with me, I'd take myself out of the equation (and probably kick him between the legs a couple of times 2). Also, if I was married to my soul mate and then he wanted to marry some 1 else 2, wouldn't that prevent her from being with her soul mate? And I wouldn't have 2 husbands. Three somes are sinful and even if it wouldn't be both at the same time, how could you live like that? The way guys are, they would be constantly competeing over you in a really stupid macho way. If you loved both of them, how could you put them through that? Also, if you spend more time with one over the other, what makes you think the one getting less won't cheat on you because he's dissatisfied?

I am so against it theres no point in having two husbands/wives! It's not a fair situation to be in. Say if I had a husband and he were to get another wife then I would leave him or just get my own back by saying I'm getting another husband. Then there would be a lot of fights and end in a total mess effecting everyone around them like children!

polygamy should be banned...
i know i might sound chessy but ---
i believe every person is half and when they find the one...
then that's the time they're comple...
so...
why indulge in a polygamous relationship?
what are you gonna become?
1+9=10??

Perhaps iwill try polygamy first...XDDD then if it turns out to be really troublesome/if it doesn't work out the way i want it to be, then i will switch to a monogamous relationship.

In our society, polygamy is probably bad. Since people are aware of 2 people being in love or the common notion of romance; 2 or more women(or men) will always have some sort of competition, jealousy, etc. Even in cultures that practice polygamy and Mormons who practice polygamy, they have a social ranking among wives. There's always some bad feelings arising out of this. If society wasn't like how it is right now would polygamy seem okay. I might say yes since nothing really is wrong about polygamy aside from the social influences we've received. I mean, on a scientific/logical sense; if the most genetically superior male specimens practiced polygamy with women, genetic quality would go up in the world. But then again... since we don't need to raise the population level in the world at the moment, genetically superior men mating with women possessing genes of similar quality might create an even stronger lineage of human beings.

Does this sound horrible or remind you of something Hitler might say? Yes. Do I agree with it morally? No. Do I think it might be correct on a biological/logical sense? Yes.

In certain situation such as the wife couldn't give birth to continue the blood line of the family. People commit polygamy. But if that happen to me I am better divorce with him than seeing him with other woman.

Because I am the type of person who definitely cannot share my husband with anyone. I think most woman cannot stand to see his husband with another woman. And it is not like only polygamy can solve the problem. There is many way to do it such as vitro fertilization. As a matter of fact that it is almost impossible for the husband to share equal love to his wifes. And it will only makes the wife suffer.
So personally I am totally against POLYGAMY.
