I'm just wondering, because of all he companies out there, crunchy is the only one i'd want to say "i'm a tiny part owner of this company"

Heck yeah!!! I really hope this is the future of anime / foreign (American here) television goodness. You get to watch brand new stuff and if you have a membership, get to feel good about supporting that which you love.

(Now if only someone would come up with a similar site for manga....)

I can almost completely understand that. I mean the cost of getting the licenses to host the anime, added to the cost of the actual servers hosting it all. I'm surprised they make enough to even keep half the site running.

Although with crunchyrolls newfound connections, and the fact they've now published their first anime, and hopefully even more releases in the future they'll begin turning a regular profit as well as improving on what they already have.

Who knows how long it'll be until we see crunchyTV.

As long as the shares are cheap, I like to own shares in something I actually like.
