I met my husband that way. In fact, I'm convinced my introverted ass would die a spinster had I not embraced online dating,

You would say that online dating is just to kill time or it's not really a relationship until you meet them in real life, however, that doesn't always happen. If one considers online dating a relationship, then might as well be because it's an opinion. Some say that relationships online are cheap and dull, but that doesn't do any input to it, but to disrespect. It just makes those who are really adding their true feelings to a relationship that is online feel low. People who do date online- some- may most likely develop feelings in real life.

Dating online is risky at most, but then if the two really contribute true commitment and wish to pursue it, it will always be a concrete relationship. If one fails to do so and the other one doesn't, it just doesn't work that way. And if you are really going to date online just to kill time or because you are lonely in real life and need a better life, you are selfish if the other significant was really serious. And if both of you are not serious and you are both just cyber, it's not really a relationship, I would consider it more of "friends with benefits"-- virtually.

Yes, I have dated online before and it didn't work. Yes, I did develop feelings, but I am all over it now. Online relationships are acceptable, obviously, in my terms. Of course, it was a relationship to me as well. I didn't date to kill time, I dated because I liked the screen. No, kidding. I dated because I really liked the person. Now, because I was able to trust the person online well, I never doubted the person's personality in real life.

There's nothing wrong with online relationship, at least it's not for old-fashioned people. No matter what kind of relationship is, dating or just friends. The basic ingredient of itself is your purpose when you commit to it. Yes, everything will change when you meet each other in real life, common.. we, human has our mind set to be picky, no matter how popular, shy, crazy or just an ordinary person we are, online or in real life. And of course we expect that person to be someone we alreday picture in your mind. As long as you stick with your purpose to the other person in online, then you have nothing to worry about. But still, we need to be VERY CAREFULL with everything, real or online world. Every decision has its own consequence and you need to accept it. That's how life is.

If you're a guy who adds nothing but young girls, that makes you a player....on the internet
that also makes you a loser in real life.

You make a good case, but I still refuse to do another online relationship. You don't know what the other person is doing or really thinks of you when the computer is off. They could be getting laid with someone else, or they are just using you as a stepping stone to someone in real life. The latter resulting in you never hearing from them, and finding out in some blog that they had "great" sex with someone else while saying horrible things about you.

This happened to me in my last two relationships, with the second one ending in 2006.

Hell, it's not even a real relationship because there is no constant physical interaction!! In order for it to be a real relationship, it needs that. So that is why I avoid online relationships and so-called dating sites (which are really scams) in favor of meeting the woman face to face and physically being with her always.

Well CR is not an actual dating site nor a legit social networking site and anyone can portray themselves as someone else. I do flirt on here but let's be honest here , who would want to? If you do then you need to be sure about it and ask for pics with them or with family members.

Dating someone from CRUNCHYROLL?

How fucked and miserable with child trauma do you have to be, to even THINK about picking out the dumpster?

That's not just Crunchyroll, any site, that has a main point of entertainment(YouTube, IGN,).

No offense to those who are quite obviously into each.

(Member and Moderator who won't be named).

But that's just stupid....period.
