Different strokes for different folks. But I have noticed that people going online to meet people usually have some emotional issues. My best friend (he is Jewish) went on this dating site and went on a lot of dates; none of them ended well and nearly every girl he met had 'issues'... It's usually for pervs, lonely people, people with parent issues, or some other baggage. Generally speaking, of course.

@tobydiah: I'm not sure of your age, but I can tell you it gets harder to meet people as you get older. I thought about asking you where you go to find new and interesting people, but the fact that you don't share your real age kept me from doing so. After a certain age its either work, school, or home or any combination of the three. I don't do drugs and going out getting hammered is not enjoyable for me.Clubs in my mind are for people young enough to enjoy lights and music, and drinking but not old enough to take on any real responsibility. So what are thirty-somethings left with? Dating sites or hooking up outside of school or work. As far as I'm concerned either one is acceptable.

I can't speak for anyone else here, but I come here to watch anime and maybe chime in on a conversation or two from time to time. I don't use CR as a dating site (Although I'd be a fool to ignore people just because it's CR...), and unless I have some way of meeting any of you in person, The forums for me are only used as a place to exchange banter. If something more comes of it...fine. If not? that's fine too..
