Don't quote someone from four months ago.
Edit: Never mind the rest of that post.

@PheonixBlaze - The fact that you will be installing on your computer from a pirated internet version is obvious. If you were going to buy the game, you would be installing from the disk, saving up 7-8 gbs. Just saying.

I don't get pirated version of any software or game so making that statement is a bit offensive.

Being the impatient person that I am when the VN gets released next year in the Spring/Summer I will just wait till then to purchase and download the VN online. I choose to buy the VN and if you want the VN you should too. Downloading 7-8 GB is alot but I will be able to make a back up copy that I will store on my external HDD as opposed to having the DVD which you can't legally make copies of even for the intend of having a back up copy as it circumvents the DRM or whatever software they use to prevent copying.

If my internet speed stays the same by Spring/Summer of 2012 then Downloading 7-8 GB will be a pain, when I purchased and downloaded Left 4 Dead 2,which took up 11 GB, it took about 24 hrs to finish downloading with my internet speed.

There is also the possibility that it(School Days HQ) may be in a zip file in which case you will have to unzip which in turn temporarily(if you intend to delete after installing) doubles the amount of space used and triples after installing, simply deleting the unzipped file and transfering the zip file to another HDD or external HDD could resolve the issue of wasted space from your main HDD

FYI:
Pre-order is available for School Days HQ
Price: $40.00($39.95)
DVD-ROM or Download for Windows 98/Me/2000/XP/Vista/7

Hmm I apologise. I assumed that if you were installing from your computer, that you would have torrented/downloaded an illegal copy of the game off the internet, rather then buying it. I wasn't aware that you could download something this big online, because it isn't really related to anything like L4D2, or other Steam games.

...I don't get what you just said...

Were you saying that yes, you can download it, or yes, it is possible that it will be around 7-8 gbs?

I don't think anyone said anything about it being the original game...

@Other people - The remake was the same as the original except they exchanged and enhanced some of the cg/animation, and added extra routes and endings. This HQ version is the one coming to America

What I didn't know was whether you could actually buy and download the game LEGALLY. I know that as soon as it comes out, that there would be torrents and DDLs popping up everywhere, and patches to allow play.
