Is this like an ad in disguise?
Anyway, I don't like role playing, like what people do when they make characters and live out their dreams and such, I'm more into RPG gaming like on consoles :3

Never tried it..I came close to making my own 50s-related one. Otherwise, I'm not usually interested

Some of the games are kinda fun

Guilty, and proud to admit it, started in the D&D universe, and came through all its permutations.

I quit rpg about a year ago, and I've stopped my addictive gaming habits (yeeeey). I played MMORPG. o.O Ragnarok mostly.

I love to RP, but it's hard to find anyone who is serious about it now. Just seems like everyone who does it now, absolutely has to be better then everyone else, or they aren't having any fun. I make something decent and people get mad, cause suddenly they aren't the top tier player anymore, which results in them essentially "cheating" and picking all the best stuff, disregarding their own character concept or making a character concept that sets them up to do the broken stuff and no one notices till after it happens, resulting in the GM killing off the character.

You do run into a lot of "America's" When you RPG on line these days.

(Please excuse the awkwardly colored MOT. Its just the first image i found with that line in the picture =p)

I know thats the way I used to play as well. Then I realized how asinine it was to have four or five nerds sitting around and hollering at each other in an attempt to determine whose imaginary dick was bigger.

These days, when I do play, I focus on the RP element and choose character types who focus solely on support roles. I then get to laugh at all the power gamers when the dice betray them and their character concept, which they are generally way to invested in.

RPing is epic when you have a good or even decent plot and people who are willing to participate. Groups die often, but once in a while there are those groups where there are great characters and plot. I've role played since two years ago, and haven't really stopped.

I like my RPG games, not so much rping. It creeps me out a little bit. I'm better at writing stories.

I like RPGing, even though my kind of writing might be too literary. It's hard for me to stop after just writing what my character says.
