Ok so I just started my 2 week trial. Very excited, I already know I will be renewing and will be using crunchyroll for as long as they still have bleach/naruto. You guys are the best!

Anyways I just have one question about the iPhone app for crunchyroll....

Does it support HD quality streaming?

I know you can change the account settings to 720p default, but does that only apply if you're on a pc? Or does it apply to the iPhone app too? Either way I'm not complaining, just wondering though. Thank you...

The quality is most likely 480p on the iPhone. The iPhone's resolution is 960x640, 480p will look absolutely fine on it (I've watched stuff, looks great).

this should be in the feedback/support forums. I don't know the answer to that but someone should.

I don't think so. You need to pay for it.

Yah but what if im using the tv out with an AV cable? Oh well doesn't really matter. Watched a few eps of naruto and reborn on my tv with the iPhone via AV cable and it looks really good. Alot better than I thought it would, screen doesn't look stretched or nothing. It's like I'm watching it on DVD...

yeah don't worry about that, it happens a lot of times. if theres a question that you need answered check the help/feedback/support forums first to see if someone already asked the question and had it answered. if not then feel free to ask. and welcome to the site enjoy yourself.

To confirm, the highest quality on our iOS app is 480P which is only viewable if you are on WiFi. It's not HD but it is good quality.

If you are using 3G networks, the highest quality is 320P which is only recommended for viewing on the go and not on a TV.
