ALL HAIL NEW ORDER. Rock will never die, just as long as people listen it will continue. What a silly question to even think about

Avoid the mainstream, dig through underground and independent music artists. You'll find some good work in that sector.

The mainstream is always about what looks and sounds good these days. Nothing else. Lyrics and time spent on music mean nothing to the mainstream music of today, at least in the states anyway.

Rock is not dead, you just have to know which stones to turn over to find it. Mainstream radio seems to be stuck on Pop garbage for now, but still lurking in the shadows is rock waiting for its next revival.

Rock is not dead, it just gets less air time because people would rather listen to shit like kesha.

Listen to The Joy Formidable, then try to tell me rock is dead. You just need to look harder.

No....just no, a type of music can NEVER die. People will always listen to music, and as long as we have music there will be people to listen to it. No matter what genre it is

rock isn't dead, it's just not as popular as whatever is popular right now (i don't keep track of these things)

personally i'm not a fan of rock, i'm more into death and extreme metal, which have the same roots as rock (a long time ago).
