Nope, I'm a girl and I watch guy anime, so it isn't that weird if its vice versa, it's also nice to find a guy once in awhile that has the same interests as you too.

Is it wrong for a girl to watch a boyish anime? No. Same thing goes for a guy watching a girlish anime. Baby, you were born this way

This is easily the most pointless thread, I've ever seen. What difference does it make? you like what you like who cares what anyone thinks regarding your choices, no one should influence them. Just because it's aimed at a girls doesn't mean it's strictly for girls and will turn you "gay" or something and just because it's aimed a boy demographic doesn't mean a girl can't watch or read it. Be proud of your choices in anime. I watch and read mostly shounen most of my girl friends watch and read shounen. and A lot of my guy friends love stuff like Kimi ni Todoke, Honey hunt, sailor moon..ect. So does it really matter in the end as long as you enjoyed it?

Even if an anime does have a specific gender it's targeting you can almost always find stuff in there that will appeal to a larger audience.

I consider Karin something of a girlier anime, compared to what usually watch anyway =/, but there's still tons of fan service that's obviously directed at guys and Usui is pretty much a boss. It's an anime I was glad to add to my DVD collection.

I think it's always good to broaden your horizons. It can be intimidating, but you'll sometimes find a really good show you may not otherwise have watched if you didn't break out from the norm.

And if you really feel that bad about watching something feminine, just watch a couple episode of Hellsing or a Kamina highlight reel. That should work, assuming of course, masculinity and femininity operate under the rules of simple mathematics.

Why not! there is no law that forbids guys in watching shojo animes. As long as they enjoy watching it why not. my brothers all watch animes in these genre and they are loving it...
