Hey guys,

As you know, an 8.8 magnitude earthquake struck Japan so all simulcasts airing from 3/11-3/13 will be put on hold for the time being. We will give you an update of when shows will be airing as we find out more information from Japan.

Thank you for your understanding!

I wish I was able to go out there to help volunteer in any way possible, but can't afford to do so at the moment

The footage I've seen so far on the news looks devastating. Hopefully the people of Japan will unite to help each other get out of this.

I hope it won't be as bad as the tsunami a few years back, assuming it won't actually since they have infrastructure in place to protect their people from earthquakes and tsunami's. I recognize those facilities weren't designed for such a strong force of nature but having some form of safety infrastructure in place is better than none like in Malaysia.

My thoughts are out to everyone effected in this. U.S. aid is on the way

With an 8.9 magnitude earthquake (biggest earthquake on record in Japan) and 10-meter (33-feet) high tsunami, I would expect more than just the simulcasts to be put on hold.

My thoughts and prayers goes out to everyone in Japan.

For what its worth, I would consider donating if an official crunchyroll relief effort started up.

I was waiting for crunchy to post this statement bout future anime. We just hope none of them got hurt in it or elst no more Naruto or Bleach or whatever anime u guys watch xD

Hope no one dies, that is all Im hoping for.

I have an idea. incase of any loss to the family members who is an creator of an anime. We can write an ' card to them' or we can try to send an small donation who ever want to donate an small fee to support the damage n show people on crunchy that we do care for them n try to help in any way we can.

I thought this might of happened. I don't really have the right to complain though. Missing a few new shows is nothing compared to what many people in Japan have lost. I hope the recovery operations go well. My thoughts are with all those who have been affected by this tragedy
