As someone who lives in south Louisiana I'm a veteran of natural disasters, at least you can see a hurricane coming. Right now I'm scarred for Japan. I can't even imagine what those people are going through. You need money? Done. All my prayers too. Gods speed.

I know. Katrina changed my life forever. You have to live a Natural Disaster too know how bad one is. A TV is nothing like being there. I will give money because i know their pain.

When I heard about the news yesterday, I was saddened for the whole day. My prayers go out to Japan and the families affected by this terrible disaster. I will be donating, I'm just not sure which relief program I should donate to yet... Of course, I want to make sure that all of the money that I donate goes toward the right cause...

Wish there was something more I could do to help.

Stay strong, people of Japan!

I seriously want to skip the next semester of college, get a ticket to the next flight to Japan, and help in anyway I can...but at the very least, I donated to the Relief Fund. And again, my thoughts go out to everyone in Japan...hope they find their loved ones safe and sound...

I donated the 5 dollar amount for CR. I'll also donate for the Red Cross. Japan has given me so much entertainment wise, and I want to visit there one day. Some of the greatest people and minds in the world exist in Japan. Let's protect them.

5 ways to give via text message / cell phone bill:
To donate to American Red Cross Relief, text REDCROSS to 90999
To donate to Convoy of Hope, a faith-based organization that does community outreach and disaster response, text TSUNAMI to 50555
To donate to GlobalGiving, which focuses on “grassroots projects in the developing world,” text JAPAN to 5055
To donate to The Salvation Army, text JAPAN or QUAKE to 80888
To donate to World Relief Corp., the humanitarian arm of the National Association of Evangelicals, text WAVE to 50555

You can also donate with Crunchyroll of course, or UNICEF, or a few others. Most I've seen are faith-based.

<3 My heart is with those in Japan and other areas affected by the tsunami(s), earthquake, and after shocks.
