It's either for people who have serious issues or for those who have been horribly mangled in an accident. Either way something bad has happened; physical or mental.

A great way to make yourself ugly

There is nothing wrong with it. There are people who genuinely need it for corrective surgery. There are also others who want to enhance their appearance which is fine too. There is nothing wrong with wanting to look your best. However, when it's taken to the extreme it goes in to horror-ville. For instance to me a women going from an A cup to DD's is pushing it (settle for something more practical like a B or C cup at least). Your just gonna end up with epic stretch marks on your boobs.

It can cover ur original appearance... therefore giving God a big f-u and flipping two middlefingers at it's face, telling the entity that it did a horrible job in ur creation lol xD jk... well i don't mind plastic surgery but i do mind sex change operations

And why do you mind sex change operations?

But yea... with today's technology, a guy can look exactly like a women... n in most cases they will probably not going to tell u about it until sum time (months, years, maybe never) becuz their afraid of knowing the truth about them, n upon knowing the truth the person would leave them.. it'll be fine if the person who undergo with the sex change tell the person who is courting them tht they had a sex change operation (which i doubt)... ppl have different tolerances towards certain things, and ppl having a sex change operation and not telling ppl about it is a no-no

To each his own. If people wanna spend their money on it, that's their problem and really none of my concern. It can help people who've been in accidents or had bad burns, or I guess those with low self esteem trying to feel better about themselves.

Personally I wouldn't get it done unless I had an accident or something, but that's just me.

I'd rather have a girl with a natural a or b cup and a slightly wrinkled face, than one with nasty fake plastic tits and an expressionless botox face.. But that's just me ^_^

it depends on the person.. if he/she thinks that plastic surgery will be a great help to build his/her personality and self- esteem..why not?
as for me..... i'm already satisfied with my looks..... i'm not perfect but i'm ok....

I believe that it's just a fake person who wants fake things. I have no respect for anybody that does plastic surgery, unless it is a life threatening situation.

I think that, more often than not, it's a result of a person caring too much about looking a certain way and not accepting change. A few wrinkles doesn't make you ugly. A flat butt doesn't make you unsexy. People like what people like, and if you change one person's mind, you won't change another's.

I don't have too much of a problem, but I just like he idea of lipo lol. But I think a lot of people never really need the treatment that they are getting. And now most doctors are pill happy and will give you pills for everything.

I've gotten a birthmark removed so that technically is plastic surgery but that was because there was a chance of it turning into melanoma. Now i have a inch long and ugly scar on the inner arm where my elbow is, but i don't care. I don't mid if its for medical reasons like myself.

Well i consider it only in some needs.

If you need to do it ( if it is crucial to your health - like some do on the nose, or after an accident when the face is damaged, etc. ) then do it.
If you want to do it for other reasons - do it if you want.

Personally, I don't like plastic surgery. I don't like how some Asian idols have drastic plastic surgery...
Do as you please but, don't be surprised when one day your kids ask you if they were adopted because they do not look like you.

Some is good like skin grafting and to help burns victims or people that have excess skin from shedding loads of weight. But things like extreme boob enlargements and facial implants are just really strange and dangerous. =/ Don't do a wacko Jacko on yourself lol.

I've had plastic surgery to tidy up scars from multiple major surgery, it was an option for me given by the surgeons they said "You can have these tidied up if you like" it meant a longer stay in hospital but it seemed like a good idea. It was I only chose to have the scar on my abs tidied up and they did a really good job. Its hardly visible after grafting and whatever the hell else they did to me. Still got the ones on my ribs but I don't give a shit about those lol.

For the right reasons, plastic surgery is a life changing thing.
