That sounds awesome. Much better than some diamond or something. I mean, you can't eat a diamond.

I swore I'll never do that.. 'cause it hurts my pride.
but I can never tell, right? So if ever, "Let's get married." would be my line.

Ah, well, I'd like to think of something a bit creative. Not too out there, but something nice, cute, I can be a bit of a romantic. C: I wouldn't go for any roses or candles or anything, and honestly, a cute thing I saw in a movie years back (god knows if I can remember the title of it) that stuck with me was the guy tying a string around his girls ring finger as she woke up, as if he'd be getting the size, but instead he slipped a ring on it and it slid down around her finger.

But, I'd be too stubborn to take someone elses idea. xD

Honestly, I can't say I have anything planned out, but something a bit surprising, but something noticeable.
I'd probably be nerve-wreaked, but I'd try to pull off casual, sweet, so that the entire day is a fond memory to look back on.

I've always wanted to propose (or be proposed to) with one of those crappy rings from those machines. Or a glow ring or something. Everybody likes things that glow.

Glowing-stuffs are always fun, I'd go with them. Be the man.
xD That reminds me, I was supposed to paint my room with glow-in-the-dark paint...

Oh here's a good one for a guy to use:

"If I'm the man that you love the most you could say I do at least"

LMAO, from the White Stripes song "Hotel Yorba"

.... Explain, I can't understand. Wouldn't it be insulting if your proposal involved a ring that cost less then a single USD? I know that if I wanted to marry someone, I'd give them the best ring my wallet could afford. Maybe I'm too materialistic, but I think a good ring is a fine way to show you'll go out of your way for your lover.

And if I ever found someone 'worthy' of my love, you can only imagine how much I'd spend for them. Still, it's a good thing to see someone with a symbolic-over-material-significance approach. That speaks volumes.

I have no interest in expensive things. Well, at least expensive jewelry. I'd rather have that money spent on something practical or something I enjoy. Plus, it's a bit more original than just buying some expensive ring.

My friend's brother made a ring out of two dollar bills and proposed with that. I thought it was cute (though we did joke that he should've used two hundred dollar bills).
