What is Roku? For those of you who don't know, Roku is a small internet-connected box you connect to your TV. It's pretty cheap ($60), and really easy to use. Then you get the free Crunchyroll Channel, and watch anime and drama on your big screen TV! Of course, you can still log into your premium account to get the usual (no ads, simulcast, higher quality, etc) benefits.






Change list:
- much faster load speeds
- more korean/chinese drama content
- more anime content
- season support (split video into seasons so lists don't get so long, e.g. for Naruto or Bleach, where there are 200+ episodes).
- displays premium videos in the list, with a dialog to upsell to premium account if it is a free user. previously it only displayed premium videos if you linked a premium account.
- display upcoming "Coming Soon" videos in the list
- premium video thumbnails have a star in the bottom right to indicate premium-only
- unlink/logout feature
- ad support for prerolls (currently not filled, will be adding ads in the near future)
- better error handling

Also don't forget, we recently made our Android App available for free users! It was previously for Premium Members only. Of course, premium benefits still apply - no ads, higher quality, simulcast access, and 3G streaming.

Crunchyroll is also available from other devices.

I just connect my big tv as a 4th screen to my computer for movies and tv shows..

Where is the PS3 channel? I got two PS3s waiting. It must be Sony's uber strict code policy that makes it difficult for CR to validate one.

Is Roku $60 one time fee or is it monthly or yearly?

it's $60 to buy the box, one time purchase. then u download the crunchyroll channel for free. since you already are a premium member, u can log in and get all the premium stuff.

Had never heard of a Roku box before now. Gonna have to check it out.
